Joshua 1:9 in gold. A commission I did a few months ago for a very special young lady. Her favorite verse.

We're gonna make mistakes. That's life. We're human; God knows that. He's not giving us a free pass, but He's ready to forgive. It's not about the amount of sins we've committed but the amount of times we fell on our knees and prayed for repentance.
So let me remind you today that Jesus IS enough. He is bigger then your sins. He does NOT see you as a failure and He isn't ashamed of you. His arms are open wide and He loves you through thick and thin.
Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of our Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him🍂
Trying to get some quick bible journaling done this evening before bed. So grateful for God’s blessings and mercy.

3 If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, 4 he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, 5 useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. 6 Now godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into this world, and it is certain we can carry nothing out. 8 And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who desire to be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and harmful lusts which drown men in destruction and perdition. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. #1Timothy 6:3-10|NKJV #Godisgood #Godislove #Godislight #bibleverse #thankful #grateful 4'2day #blessed #blessings #love my blue #vintage #allstar #1993 #converse #shoes #sneakers #art #photography #design #photooftheday #artoftheday #nofilter #iphone7plus #iphonephotography [when I got bored of waiting.. readbible, relax n do so some art 😁]
“We must allow ‘love to cast out fear’ (I John 4:18) of being hurt. Often fear creates what is feared. The more we are afraid we will do poorly on a test the more likely that we will freeze and do poorly. The more we are afraid of rejection by others, the more unnaturally we act, and the more likely we will be rejected. But the more we love someone without concern for our own acceptance, the more likely we will be accepted. Fear is directed inward, focused on what will happen to me if I fail the test, or am rejected, etc. Love is directed outward, towards caring for the other person more than we care for ourselves. The more you look outward (love) the less you look inward.” —C.S. Lewis
I love the way Peter responds to Jesus in Luke 5:1-11. First he complains but then he humbly tries to obey Jesus. He trust Him and we all know the result eventually. Dalam hidup, aku juga prideful, sotoy, keras kepala, sok pinter. I could be like this forever, never change, until I let Jesus take the wheel of my life. I keep on learning to listen and obey, just like Peter. Have a blessed Wednesday! ❤

Deuteronomy 7:6. Low self-esteem, low self-worth, and self hatred are feelings that many of us are currently experiencing in our lives. If you feel like you are not valuable, are not good enough, or are not worth much, ask yourself what defines your worth. Is it other peoples' love and approval? Your performance? Your appearance? Your success? Your circumstances? If you said yes, then there is no wonder that you sometimes feel unworthy and not good enough. When we base our worth on these things, our self esteem will never be stable because all of these things are temporary and constantly changing. In order to always feel valuable and have a high self-worth, we need to define our worth by how God views us. God loves us so much and has chosen us as His precious treasure. You are so valuable and are worth so much to Him that He was willing to sacrifice His son to pay for your sins and save you. When we realize how much God values us, we cannot help but recognize our own worth and value which gives us higher self-esteem and self-worth. Do not base your worth off of your performance because you will make mistakes. Do not base your worth off of other people because they will reject you sometimes. Base your worth off of God's sacrifice for you and know that you are always so precious and valuable in His eyes because He created you.
