Continuing down the Cordillo Downs Road to Innamincka, you will come across the Cordillo Downs Shearing Shed. Built in the late 1800’s the woolshed at one time had 120 stands! Amongst Shearers strikes, floods and droughts the shed has been there a long time! The Shearers used to come in on push bikes or on foot to shear the flock and with many men to very few women it would have been a tough time for all! If only the walls could talk…. @farsouthcoastcamperhire @camplifyau #campinglife #campinginaustralia #bermaguinsw #bermaguivic #thiscouldbeyou #campertrailer #campertrip

Cadelga Ruins - Cordillo Downs SA. Located in the top right hand of SA, these ruins are located next to the Cadelga Waterhole. Built in the 1870’s, they were an outstation of the major property Cordillo Downs. They not only show how isolated they were at the time, but also the remarkable craftmanship of the period (and location). If you get the chance, make the Cordillo Downs Road a part of your journey and enjoy these places.
