Had fun up in the mountains today. Shot a lot more ammo than I thought we were going to, then hit the mountains! #BeeCanyon #shooting #letsgoplaces #tacoma #trd #dank @sarahisnotfun

I was on the Bee Canyon Trail yesterday with the San Diego Jeep Club and we came across this Ford Bronco that had just rolled over on the trail just moments before. The driver had lost the use of his brakes while going down hill and his only option was to try and slow the rig down by turning into the hill, this is what caused the roll over. If the driver would have continued down hill, he would have continued to accelerate and encountered a sharp turn along the cliff just ahead. The driver and passenger were a little shaken up, but thankfully no one was hurt. A good lesson for everyone, even on an easy trail, you have to be ready for the unexpected.

Just out relaxing today #grapeescape #beecanyon it's a tad bumpy... Might wanna air down a tad
It was a mess trying to find those who were in the razor. It was a mess trying to explain to the 911 dispatch where we are. The one guy on seen was the biggest mess of all, not being coherent enough to know if anyone was trapped or not. Once that got straightened out we started on keeping the fire controlled. We had a shovel that might as well have been a BBQ spatula but we didn't mind getting dirty throwing sand with our hands and kicking it on to the flames to extinguish them. First we started across the road trying to prevent a large wild fire heading down towards town. Then started helping it not spread further up the mountain. Then we put the razor out once all the fuels and major toxins burnt down to just a frame.
