It’s amazing how much better you look with a tan 😂
Just finished my Total Breakfast shake. I just heard @lukepritch talking to his mom about said shake and the first words that came out of her mouth was ‘isn’t that going to make you put weight on?’ 🤦🏻‍♀️ no, I really don’t understand why people think that protein shakes make you gain weight. Protein shakes are literally the best thing to ever grace the planet, they help with recovery and muscle growth. So ladies, please ignore this stupid myth and drink that protein like your life depends on it ✌🏻
I like to say I came for the fitness💪🏻 and stayed for the friends👯👯

I’ll never forget the day I bought this shirt. I was doing a little shopping when I was in New Orleans this summer for the biggest event of the year for my coaching community when this shirt caught me eye. I knew I had to have it because I’m such a words person and this one just spoke to me ❤ .
I became a lifestyle coach to be my best self and empower other women to do the same, but what I got was so much more than that. .
One of the biggest things I am thankful for EVERY SINGLE DAY is the community of amazing women that came with being a coach!! New friends that were just like ME, who understood and shared my passion & dreams and who motivate and support me every day to be my best self!!! I have found a second family and I’m never letting them go!

No judgment is ever made, no certain background is needed, no amount in your bank account is required, you don’t have to be from a certain area or look a certain way – none of it matters!! The only thing that DOES matter is who you are on the inside ❤ .

☠️ The idea behind ‘detoxing’ is that they clean our bodies from all the toxic waste and give the body a health reboot. Unfortunately this is rather a marketing trick than reality. Will they make you lose weight in a short period of time? Yes, but that’s what eating in a caloric deficit does. Is this sustainable? Probably not.

✨The truth is that our body has its own mechanism to remove waste and toxins. Our organs (liver, skin, gut, lungs etcetera) continually detox our bodies. They break down these chemicals into forms we can eliminate via the toilet, sweat or breath. When you drink (a lot of) alcohol for example, your liver works really hard to break down the alcohol into forms to make sure it can leave the body.

After a pretty emotional day yesterday of me doubting myself again I actually feel pretty upbeat!
Signed up to the 6 week #pureloser course at @puregymofficial which in sure will put a spring in my step and have me really excited to cook an workout!
This is probably the first time in a while when I'm excited for my FUTURE progress rather then short term quick results 💪
Finally feel like I'm headed in the right direction and I couldn't be happier 💕

FATTY FISH VS. NUTS 🐠

Fats provide the body with energy, essential vitamins and contain essential fats. There are 2 main types of fat: saturated and unsaturated. Unsaturated fats are again divided in 2 groups: monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats. Most foods contain a mix of these 👆🏼

Some fats are better for your health than others. Saturated for example are considered to be less healthy because they can raise our blood cholesterol levels and increase our risk of heart disease.
Omega 3 fats is a group of unsaturated fats which are essential. This means they cannot be made in the body and we need to get 'em from the food we eat. Omega 3 helps prevent blood from clotting and lower the risk of heart disease.

Sources of omega 3 are fatty fish (salmon, sardines, ...), walnuts, rapeseed, soy, flaxseed, linseed, oil of these nuts and seeds and green leafy vegetables 👉🏼 keep in mind that these oils can only be used in cold preparations because they can't resistent high temperatures.

Knowing this doesn't mean walnuts are the alpha nuts but this does mean you could add more walnuts to your diet if you don't already do!

How much omega 3 do we need on a daily basis? For women this is about 2.2 - 4.4 g per day (based on a 2000 kcal diet) and for men this is 2.8 - 5.6 g per day (based on a 2500 kcal diet). ___
