I’ve been booed! My office has this fun Halloween game where you boo a fellow coworker with treats and then they pass it on by booing someone else. Now, it’s time to test my self control because I see a lot of Reese’s pumpkins and candy corn in that bowl. Oh, I named my skeleton Harry. This week, I'm working on reaching my goal of drinking more water and to NOT take an extra rest day this week 😅
👉🏼I have a water bottle that has water fill marks on it, so I know exactly how much I'm drinking. My water bottle holds 32 oz of water and my goal is to drink three water bottles full each day!! (Which is more than my recommended amount)
💦calculate your recommended water intake using the following: (your weight) / 2 = your recommended water in ounces!
Tonight's treat! (That fits in my macros😍) plus my trusty lactaid pills😂
Although I'm not really an ice cream person, these past weeks have been very mentally taxing on me, and definitely triggering my cravings for comfort food, so I'm doing my best to stay on track and fit some of them in!

I have learned that kids will eat what they see adults eating. We have to be the role models for them! This is ONE of the reasons why I choose to eat well and live a healthy lifestyle because one day I will have my own family and I want to be a good example for them and create healthy eating habits for my future children at a young age. Starting early is important to give our children the best chance to live healthy and successful lives and turn the tide on our obesity epidemic.

P I L A T E S ✨Such a LOVE/HATE relationship over here. All of the moves I do in my Pilates workouts BURN 🔥 but I've seen the best results in my legs and hip area from doing it because you work so many tiny, little muscles that we don't typically work on a regular basis. lace up and G O -- who's ready to sweat today? 💦 to me a workout should never be forced, if you’re forcing something it means the passion is gone and if the passion is gone that means it’s time to re-evaluate what you’re doing • i’ve been training very bodybuilding style for a long time because i truly did enjoy it and saw the results i wanted but about 4 weeks ago i found myself not excited to go to the gym, i was spending 1.5 hours or more in the gym and i honestly just bored with my workouts which is never a place where i want to be so i decided to switch it up - i’ve implemented circuit style training and i’m loving it 😍💦 i do one fast paced leg day a week with supersets and trisets, one heavy compound leg day (later in the week obvs), 3 upper body days that are more circuit style and one full body circuit day, i do 3 steady state cardio sessions a week and 1-2 HIIT sessions - i feel challenged, excited and i leave sweaty af every day in under 60 minutes usually 💦 my body has been reacting so well to this new style of training that i’m already almost at my goal and my trip is still 5 weeks away 💃🏼🌴 you DO NOT need to spend hours in the gym to get results. there are so many ways and styles of workouts so if you don’t genuinely enjoy what you’re doing then try something else - what's everyone doing to get their sweat on? @mondayactive

The hectic school year and winter szn❄️ on its way has got me feelin THICCCCK! I have been experiencing so many road blocks to lean out for MONTHS. It’s always in the back of my mind how nice it would be to have muscle definition to show all my hard work, but I don’t feel that it’s actually necessary! I don’t need outside recognition or congratulating to feel accomplished with my strength gain and hustle... Neither do you! If being lean is available to you with your daily schedule and enjoyable then you GET IT GURRRRL👏🏽👏🏽 However, if it’s not attainable in your current life & daily responsibilities, don’t sweat it! You KNOW what you be doin up in that gym and you feel how much stronger you are than in the past.💪🏼💦🏃🏼‍♀️🏋🏼‍♀️ Just cuz you don’t have your progress chiseled out on your body for the world to see doesn’t make it any less of what it is. You are AWESOME and you keep puttin in that work for YOU!!! No one else💯

Feeling a little sluggish this morning so I took my time with breakfast 🙃
Made some @veggienoodleco butternut squash noodles sautéed in @organicvalley ghee and seasoned with @traderjoes everything but the bagel seasoning, power greens sautéed in ghee, and an @organicvalley egg (I added another one after because I was starving 🤷🏻‍♀️)
Going to be at school all day today so I wanted to be sure I had enough fat for breakfast to keep me going 🔥

At the young age of 13 I started my fitness journey. I learned the importance of treating your body right by eating nutritious foods and keeping active daily. Everyday I look forward to my workouts and pushing myself a little harder than before. My workouts include weight training, circuits, indoor cycling, running, barre, hiking, and yoga. I love the creativity in fitness, lifting weights, a new trail on a hike, the possibilities are endless. 😼💪🏻🏓 #wellnesswednesday
Fitness has a special place in my heart for creativity and mindfulness. The more I practice, the better I get, but also the more I experiment and step outside my comfort zone, feeling this creative energy as I reach my edge. After each workout I feel renewed, anything that may have been troubling me before I stepped foot in the gym, on a new trail, or my yoga mat is washed away. Especially after an outside run in this LA fall weather, sweaty spaghetti is an understatement. Time for my second cup of coffee! 😅☕️💦#coffee
