9 days later and 2 lbs.... unfortunately only 2 bbg/gym dates. But a hell of a lot of coffee/tears/not enough time in the day to overeat. I just started an intensive care rotation ... worked 26 hours straight last night (I am a medical resident, it’s like greys anatomy but we don’t do surgery). Slept once - head down on the computer keyboard. Managed to have three coffees, one fig sandwich, one egg white wrap. then I went home, slept for 10 hours, and woke up to spend st. Patrick’s day eating an entire thing of Kraft dinner and two radlers for dinner. Unsure of the calorie count but something seems to be working ok.
This weeks goal: when buying coffee do not also buy cookies, buy real food.

@creativeworldoffood "Die Magie hinter einer Abnahme und der größte Teil danach ❤️! Eine Abnahme ist im Prinzip ganz einfach. Die Magie liegt überwiegend in der Ernährung. Wer weniger isst als er verbraucht, Stichwort Kaloriendefizit, nimmt ab. Hier ist natürlich zu beachten ein vernünftiges Defizit zu wählen, alle Nährstoffe abzudecken sowie sich stets satt zu essen. Wer hungert, sich zu etwas zwingt etc verliert. Dazu kommt noch etwas Bewegung, Zeit, Geduld, Disziplin und ein großes Durchhaltevermögen, was man erreicht, wenn man es wirklich möchte.
Der mentale Aspekt ist der Größte. Nur wer wirklich bereit ist sein Leben zu ändern, wird es auch bis zum Ende erfolgreich durchziehen.
Der größte Teil kommt danach, wenn es darum geht, das Gewicht zu halten. Damit tun sich viele schwer und ich sage dir auch warum. Wer sich nicht mit dem Thema auseinandersetzt, weiß was der eigene Körper braucht und seine Ernährung nicht gefunden hat, wird wieder in alte Muster verfallen.
Wenn du dich also mit dir selbst beschäftigst, deine Ziele weiterhin verfolgst und deine ausgewogene Ernährung gefunden hast, so hast du absolut nichts zu befürchten. Ich bin jetzt bald 1 Jahr aus der Abnahme heraus und habe absolut keine Probleme mit dem Gewicht.

Zeit: 1 Jahr und knapp 8 Monate
Ernährung (Abnahme): überwiegend Paleo
Ernährung (Heute): Keine Form, meide weitestgehend Weizen sonst ausgewogen mit überwiegend gesund aber auch Ben&Jerry's, Lindt und Starbucks 🍦🍫☕
Sport: Krafttraining | Muskelaufbau
OP: Keine
Überschüssige Haut: vorhanden

The photo on the left was me at almost 300lbs. I believe a 20/22, I quit keeping track at that point and always wore the stretchy 2x sweats. I remember my daughter taking that pic and I instantly wanted to delete it. But I didn’t. And for some reason, I went back and looked at that photo and said “This can’t be me anymore. This cannot be my fate.” It’s been a long journey. I told myself that I could never be that girl on the left ever again. Not because she was overweight, but because she was sad, depressed, and she did not love herself. That’s what has helped me to keep going. Today, I’m soooo close to ONEderland and I ditched the stretchy pants for size 10 skinny jeans. I love who I am becoming and trying on clothes is enjoyable to me and no longer a hassle.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! I celebrated by putting in the final workout of #bbg round 1(hiit running), and then doing yard work for the rest of the day lol! But I hope everyone got the chance to do something fun! I have to admit that I’m pretty proud of myself for making it through this 3 month program, especially since I am a serial quitter lol. I love to start workout challenges but very rarely finish them. But honestly you guys are a huge part of the reason I’ve been able to stick with it. The support and accountability that I get from the #bbgcommunity and the rest of the #fitfam is incredible. In short, y’all rock! 😘😘😘

Another late night —> although I do indulge in some alcoholic beverages instead of going on I’m putting in work at the gym 🙌🏼🔥✨ gotta get those baby abs back amirite? Today’s workout was 4 miles on the treadmill at a 9:05 pace. I’m slowly working up my endurance and speed for the race and I’m quite a few steps closer if you know what I mean 😉🏃🏼‍♀️ .

➡️Nessa comparação da pra perceber claramente a insatisfação da primeira foto 🤦e a satisfação de hoje 😀. Poderia colocar um emoji no meu rosto em fevereiro poderia, mas... Preferir mostrar a cara horrenda (afinal mostro só a veracidade aqui 😂😂). Nunca fui INFELIZ comigo, mesmo quando me deparei na obesidade sempre me achei o máximo (kkk) sempre me amei, mesmo sabendo que estava na obesidade usava as cintas pra apertar a barriga colocava o vestido e pronto ia "abalar" 😂 mas quando tirava aquela cinta voltava a realidade e via que aquele corpo não era o que queria pra mim. Por outro lado eu estava insatisfeita comigo, sempre tive um corpo legal e chegar nesse estado da obesidade foi um CHOQUE. Eu só não tinha coragem e determinação pra mudar antes, talvez porque não era a minha hora e possa ser assim também com quem esteja passando por isso. Engordei durante uns 4 anos e meio a 5 anos e o meu momento de mudar só foi agora. Tudo é questão de fase, de momento... E o meu momento foi esse ano de 2017 quando olhei pra mim no réveillon e disse que não iria mais continuar desse jeito. E foi isso que fiz parei de me acomodar sair do sedentarismo e fui me AMAR ainda mais. É isso que importa e digo a vocês SE AMEM em primeiro lugar independente de qualquer coisa.

Meu processo apenas se baseou em RA + AF = Reeducação Alimentar e Atividade Física (CrossFit). Comigo não existiu uma dieta restritiva nem milagrosa, apenas aprendi a escolher alimentos saudáveis. Nesse caminho há uma grande tomada de consciência, um amor pela minha saúde, pelo meu bem estar, pela minha qualidade de vida e pela minha ESTÉTICA 👍😁 Eu não estou fazendo isso por ninguém, mas sim! Por mim mesma 💪 "

Haven’t done a side by side comparison in a long time because honestly I was scared I wouldn’t see much of a difference in 8 weeks, especially since I experienced a plateau for the past couple weeks. But now looking at these pictures, I can see the slight differences that I am getting leaner and getting stronger. And then I look at me today vs me last June and I can’t help but be so proud of the girl I was 9 months ago who said enough to feeling self conscious and unworthy and put herself and her health first. This is how Kayla left me after week two’s full body workout. I really don’t like working out in front of people, and my family was home so I asked mum to move her car out of the garage for an hour so I could just do my workout (and allow time for #death to come get me too). She refused because “dust and leaves will flick up” hahahaha what?! 😂 so she made me go near our shed exposed to all the neighbours and look like a fool, and it’s on the biggest lean possible. Thanks mum 🙄😂 it was also 30oC (86oF) out there! BUT! I got it done. I struggle with my arms. They are certainly the weakest part of my body. What’s yours??
