First video:
240 kg Squat (personal best) first time pulling it out on my own.
Then other build up sets.
230x1
220x3
200x5
All in videos.

Smashed out a good leg session mainly a different variety of squats today.
Along with some leg extensions and hack squats close and wide stances hit them angles.
I do the other bits as well but when it comes to them main compounds.
Keep that weight progressive over time, It’s nice to be getting stronger but it’s also progression, and it’s measurable.
As a wise bodybuilder once told me. ‘If you’re getting stronger then you’re growing’

I feel that there’s an old school element to this and that you gotta do them heavy sets as well the rest of the varied rep ranges, I go from a range of 1-30 reps and failure sets on squats to hit different muscle fibre types.
I use the same principle in my other training.
Mainly on my compound movements.
A pump alone is not going to active your different fibre types like a heavy set of squats.
To really make you grow, you need to incorporate strength training into a bodybuilding routine.
Not to train just like a power lifter and to only do assistance work with the compounds.
But to lift like a power lifter and do everything god damn else as well with it 🙌🏻 Nothing like getting under that bar and moving some weight around anyway!

• 140kg front squat (197% body weight)

170kg back squat (240% body weight)

Two life time pbs!! The only way is up 💪

Not entirely happy with the depth on the front squat, it's parallel.

However I like to go below that usually.

Just rushed as a 3 plate front squat made me nervous lol.

Safety bar squats 1x7, 4x5 @ 80kgs RPE 9

Went better than I expected. Safety bar squats aren’t easier. It really forces you to keep an upright torso otherwise the bar will push your forward and swing your hips back so the quads don’t get the work you’re aiming for. Feels great to be lifting heavy! 💪
