Los gobiernos no existen para dar salud, educación y alimentos “gratis”. Su única función es proteger nuestro derecho a la vida, a la propiedad y a la libertad. Más de esto está mal y sería criminal porque se financiaría con el saqueo al dinero de los demás.

Bold assertion. But if you look into it the US healthcare system is quite socialized and monopolistic already which is why it works so bad. The supply of drugs and doctors is restricted by licensing, patents, regulation, certificates of need to build hospitals and there are exemptions from antitrust laws while the government has increased the demand for care by the millions with Medicare Medicaid and other expansions. This obviously doesn’t work. The only ways out while still having government involvement are to either subsidize consumers or producers. Subsiding producers, which is what single payer does, requires either government ownership/heavy taxation of individuals or forcing consumers to buy the product which is Obamacare. Since the government also restricts the supply this doesn’t work well. Subsidizing consumers would increase demand and could work if amount given to people is limited and supply increases without state limits, including tort costs and insurance across state lines. Give a person the money or tax credit directly like a voucher or “premium support” below a certain level to shop for healthcare rather than reimburse or subsidize as with Medicare/Medicaid. Currently employer insurance is tax exempt but not individual insurance so this gives third party providers like HMOs more control. Also there needs to be the ability to not cover or have to have certain benefits to control costs. It’s not perfect since a true free market in healthcare which somewhat existed before Johnson and Nixon would work better but its the only political alternative to outright socialism and corporatism. The republican plans to replace Obamacare and Paul Ryan’s Medicare reform follow these principles of subsidizing consumers rather than producers and attempt to reduce regulation to increase supply, competition, and reduce coverage requirements so in principle I’m for them. In general libertarians should be for a voucher subsidy to individual consumers as a pragmatic alternative to government programs, since it empowers individuals and maintains semblance of a markets and private ownership. #andrewnapolitano

Fox #LegalAnalyst: Start #Felony #Investigation into #Trump #Collusion
It’s rare that Fox “News” reports the news without a pro-Trump spin. But Fox legal analyst #AndrewNapolitano threw a wrench into the Soviet-style propaganda narrative of the mighty right-wing wurlitzer. As #HuffingtonPost reports:
#FoxNews legal analyst believes there’s enough information out there to “commence a #criminalinvestigation” into accusations of collusion between the #DonaldTrump campaign and #Russia.
“It is a crime to receive something of value, when you’re a campaign official, from a foreign person or a foreign government,” Judge Andrew Napolitano said Monday on “America’s Newsroom.”
Fox News host #SandraSmith asked what it would have meant if #DonaldTrumpJr. and other campaign officials received information about #Democratic presidential candidate #HillaryClinton at the #TrumpTower meeting last year with Russian operatives.
“That would’ve been a felony,” Napolitano replied. “That would’ve been the completion of a crime.”
Napolitano also said it appears there was an attempted #coverup of the crime:
He called it “suspicious” that the Trump campaign didn’t tell anyone about the meeting and that #WhiteHouse aide #JaredKushner, Trump’s son-in-law, who was also in attendance, didn’t mention it on his #nationalsecurity application.
Kudos to Judge Napolitano for calling it like it is, without a pro-Republican bias. Now the question is, will #Republicans with political power do anything about the fact that we have people in the White House who likely are #criminals?
