😀Meet Member of the Month, Holly. She first started training at Ambition in fall of ‘15. She’s come quite a long way since then. We are very proud of her.
⬛️Early on she told us that she would be our ultimate project and, it’s true she didn’t have the most mobility, strength, or athletic coordination in the beginning. However, over the long haul and with right mindset of committing to the process, Holly really kicks ass! Things that may have once seemed impossible like skipping, jumping, deadlifting 150 lbs kettlebell for 12 reps, or pushing 350+ lbs sleds are now part of the daily routine.
🔥Recently she achieved a weight loss goal. In ‘16 she completed our 50 Workout Challenge at the end of the year. This year when we stepped up the challenge to 75 workouts she was the first to finish, 36 days early!
🎉Congratulations Holly. YOU have earned it.

Single leg bridge with a kick is a great no weight glute builder. Wrap a slingshot or any mini band above the knees. Make sure to keep the hips even throughout the whole range of movement. Squeeze your glutes at the top and maintain that squeeze as you kick the leg out. Don’t let those hips sag.
Save and give it a try during your next booty session.

Activate your feet!
Your feet are very important and need stimulation. To enhance your squats and hinge movements, try balancing on a 2x4. It'll really make your calves, ankles, and your entire leg stronger. If you're feeling super strong try the 3rd variation here for a real challenge.

WE WON SILVER! So today the music for the Troupe started to cut out during the performance. Instead of giving up and being defeated the girls danced like they’ve never danced before.

What are you doing to protect yourself from cold and flu season?
Whether or not you decide to get a flu shot, you can still decrease your risk of getting sick this winter by taking good care of yourself!
Eat healthy, unprocessed whole foods containing healthy fats, complete proteins, and lots of veggies of all colors! Keep alcohol and junk food to a minimum! Increase foods high in zinc, Vitamin C, and Magnesium!
Get your sunshine ☀️ Sunshine provides us with wonderfully bioavailable D3, which is critical for proper immune function. Oftentimes it’s a little harder to get sunshine in the winter, so you can use sublingual D3 (with added K2 to make the D3 bioavailable!) drops if you live in a gloomy area. Or....just eat high quality mushroom omelette cooked in grassfed butter 😜
SMILE 😊 at least 10 times every day (yep, that will boost your body’s physiological capability of protecting itself from harmful viruses/bacteria)!

STAY WELL-HYDRATED with non-sugary, non-caffeinated beverages and fresh fruit. Our bodies are made up of 70%+ water, so if you’re low on hydration, your body doesn’t function properly!
Keep yourself healthy this season! Follow these tips to keep your immune system up to par, so worst case scenario even if you do catch something, your body will be able to fight it off quickly!
