My experience with getting and staying lean: I started out not knowing anything doing crazy amounts of cardio to prepare for summer which ended up in my injuring my hamstring. I couldn't do any cardio for the entire summer and thought that's it I'm washed up and destined for dancing with the stars! But then I learned the importance of tracking calories and macros and through proper dieting, being in a calorie deficit, and utilizing intermittent fasting I was able to maintain this level of leanness well beyond the summer with no cardio! And it was a pretty good excuse to get out of doing legs.. but the point is if you wanna get shredded be mindful of your nutrition and be in a caloric deficit and your body will burn through fat. Additionally we wanna preserve muscle mass which is where your weight training comes in, for this I recommend periodizing between lifting heavy and hypertrophy based training to preserve muscle mass, that being said DONT DIET TOO HARD, you'll end up going in circles trying to put on mass and lose fat over the year, so be in a deficit but keep calories as high as possible and gradually lower over time while keeping protein intake high! and most importantly enjoy the process 💪😎 #fitness #summer

#FlashBackFriday Grind until those who don't take you seriously or think your dreams are a joke want to be just like you. There is going to be moments and times where you think quitting is the best option for you. Why? When your body and mind is under severe stress, it's almost as if your mind can convince you that quitting is a good idea. You'll rationalize it and make yourself feel better about it. For example: If you tell yourself you're going to wake up in the morning before school or work and run, study, or work on your business. But you tell yourself "Nah, getting 8 hours of sleep instead of 6 is healthier for my body. I'll just sleep in." This is the voice you have to destroy!!! Train your mind to ignore that voice and just do it.. follow through with your original plan. Those who follow through are the ones who achieve their goals!! YOU can be that person. Just set a goal, create a plan, and execute it. No hesitations, be confident in your abilities. Something which really helped me with the roundness of my shoulders was lots of volume on lateral raises, however OHP is vital for sculpting the entire shoulder joint, so I’d always incorporate that.

However, increasing the volume at which I do lateral raises really helped shape them. IE Doing 5 sets of 12-15 instead of only doing 3 sets at a heavier weight. Going light and keeping the form stricter isn’t a bad thing!!

I don't what to say ! These days I didn't post anything, cuz I felt bad about myself. .
I felt like I'm useless ! Like I'm wasting your time :(
Had to check my guts, start thinking about why I started this fitness journey & that's it. I'm still feeling guilty to being in ~ 174 Lbs like I didn't do anything.
But but but always try to look at the other hand, I did 140kg squats 5 reps xD so it's a good compromise.
Anyway I promise myself to do more next days & be more active.
Till then ^^ enjoy every moment in your day. Life is too precious to give up on it.
