Here in the Philippines, it's no fun if you get scratched or bitten by your pet dog or cat or anybody's pet. Eventhough, they have all the shots they have, we have to go immediately to the hospital for our anti-rabies shots. Depending on the area that they bit, if it's upper extremities, meaning from waist up, you have additional shots. That's what I had today, 8 (eight) shots today and I still have to go back 4x more. Lesser shots on the succeeding sessions. Not really paintul but the hassle and time that you have to commit to get all shots complete. #pets #antirabies #syringe #syringeshots #needles #dogsandcats #medication #skintest #medicines #vaccines #bite #scratch

Scientists are really worried about the spread of resistance among bacteria, cause resistant bacteria cost a lot of money and effort to eradicate, not to mention lots of antibiotics have been retired due to Super bugs (bacteria that is resistant to many antibiotics), and one of the main reasons of the appearance and spread of resistant bacteria is people's misuse of antibiotics, you can learn more about this subject in our video link in bio.

Demeden edemedim. Sorry for the long post in Turkish. Here is the English version:
Don't follow a trend that's a hazard for the whole community!
The bullshit trend that started in the US and Europe has reached Turkey as well. I wrote bullshit as this trend of "vaccines make children autistic" has no scientific proof. Some may claim but if you do your research right you'll see that it is based on literally thin air. You may ask how dangerous it is NOT to vaccine. Here an example: a decease that has been dormant for decades killed 35 people in Europe in the last year. This may not sound like much but considering that this trend is on the rise we'll have growing numbers of people dying of totally preventable deceases. I mean you people who are so lucky to have children, why put them at risk for something that is no more than a glorified gossip? Vaccines as in Turkey mandatory and now people start to complain... Dude in Europe they consider to make it mandatory why go back to idiocity!!! Don't put you and your loved ones in danger for a stupid trend!!

Vaccines on trial: U.S. court separates fact from fiction

By Meredith Wadman
Apr. 27, 2017 , 1:15 PM

Leah Durant was cleaning the unfinished basement of her home in Falls Church, Virginia, one day in October 2010 when she scraped her hand on a rusty nail. Not long after, the then-37-year-old lawyer was seated in her doctor's office, preparing to receive a tetanus vaccine—a preventive measure that since 1947 has reduced U.S. fatalities caused by the soil-borne bacterium Clostridium tetani 500-fold.

Her physician stood to her left and leaned over her shoulder with the needle.

The pain was immediate, and so excruciating that Durant screamed. "I knew right then and there that something had gone terribly wrong," she recalls.

Six years later, driven by that painful jab, Durant has become a vaccine injury lawyer with a bustling practice in Washington, D.C., half a mile from a red brick building that houses what is popularly known as the vaccine court. Thirty years ago, federal law established that court—part of the U.S. Court of Federal Claims—to remove vaccine injury cases from the civil courts, where a wave of lawsuits had spooked vaccinemakers and was threatening to cause vaccine shortages.

That law, the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act of 1986, limited the legal liability of vaccinemakers and created the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) in the Department of Health and Human Services. The VICP is a no-fault route for people injured by vaccines to win damages from a government trust fund financed by an excise tax on vaccines. (Despite the law's title, adults, too, can win compensation for vaccine injuries.) Since its first case in 1988, the vaccine court has adjudicated more than 16,000 petitions and dismissed two-thirds of them. To the successful petitioners, and their lawyers, it has awarded about $3.6 billion.

Hani's 2 cents on life:
"Don't cry about life giving you lemons, you probably don't know about the lady who gives me shots." .
Vaccinations have been the hardest for us (Maa, Baba and Hani) but I try to make it as painless as possible for this little chum chum. .
💉Always keep a favourite toy in hand when she gets the needle. This distracts her from the fact, that this, apparently nice lady has just pricked her with a needle or needles.
💉Panadol Infant drops, which I give, right after 15 mins of getting the shots. I don't want moms telling me how I should not be doing that and how wrong it is because I really can't bear seeing her restless, crying or in pain during our ride back home. It probably helps with the pain and she sleeps peacefully, as we go back home. She wakes up forgetting about how unfair life has been before she slept.
💉Keep a treat (biscuits mostly) in case she doesn't sleep and start thinking about how her mother has betrayed her by pretending to go out and then taking her to her least favourite place.
I know how vaccinations save our precious little laddos from diseases and all (May God, keep every child healthy. Ameen) but I have always been uncomfortable about giving babies multiple shots, at a time. I mean, one is,quite frankly, enough for their tiny little minds and bodies to process. Any doctors here, who would like to tell me if I am wrong or not?
