A primer is great but a makeup gripper is even better. It's a must-have for hydrating and smoothing while also keeping your face in place. #ad

Up this week in our #TrendingAtSephora series (where we team up with our beauty expert friends at @Sephora to bring you an #Instaworthy how-to): the mohawk #braid!

1) To start, use a curling iron to wave 2-inch sections of hair.

2) Spritz all over with a texturizing spray and let air dry.

3) Use a tail comb (or bobby pin) to section off the top of your hair. #Protip: A good guideline is to part from the arch of each eyebrow!

4) You'll braid your hair in three different sections, tying off each one with an elastic as you go. For section one, braid from the front of your hair back to your crown.

5) Then, braid to your occipital bone (that little knot at the back of your head). 6) Finally, braid to the ends of your hair. If you want this more raised, chunky effect, opt for a Dutch braid, where you place each bit of hair under the middle section, versus over it.

7) Once braids are complete, gather the rest of your hair into a low ponytail at the nape of your neck. Use a clear elastic to secure your pony to your Dutch braid.

Now go rock that fauxhawk!😜 Photographed by @nadyawasylko

Did you know? The best way to neutralize undereye circles is to use a red-hued color corrector!

Majorly cool #bluemakeup (we got ours from @Sephora!) deserves to be used
in an equally bold look.
Here's how we put it together:

1) To start, apply a dot of blue cream shadow to each lid.
2) Spread the product over your entire lid — fast — before it dries.
3) Drag any leftover product along your lower lashline and slightly below.
(think 🍌 shape)
4) For more intensity, line your upper and lower lashlines with a navy
shadow.
5) To finish, define your brows, add a couple coats of mascara, and
start practicing that killer wink 😜
