Working an evading drill in this morning's boxing class to help sharpen defense. The goal is to not let the stick touch you, working their reaction time, foot work, and head movement. This drill also has its cardio benefits as they are forced to constantly keep moving even when they are tired.
It has been doing wonders for my students defensive movements, highly recommend for anybody looking for a good drill to practice defense. Give it a try, all you need is a stick and a partner!
