Say hello to our little "Mickey"! Measuring right on track! Heart Rate was nice and high!

Can't wait to actually hear the heart beat at the next appt! (they don't do the listening part so early this time, something to do with the waves and possibly effecting the growth? What do you do when you have YOU time? Today, I had nearly two hours after a few work meetings and was all over the place with how to spend it. Sometimes it's hard to prioritize precious time. But I'm so glad I made this choice to enjoy some of my favorite local coffee and write. Blogs to come, friends. (Oh and I did go look at shoes!) 😂

Day 19: Spotty Sunshine ⛅️ *
Pearl: Take it as it comes
High: Soaking up the spotty sunshine 🌞 seeing if I can turn myself from pasty winter white to eggshell... feeling warmed on the inside out n outside in.
Low: at yoga this morning (which was a high), I caught a side eye glance at myself in the mirror and let’s just say the angle wasn’t flattering (totally the mirrors fault;). I was happy I made it to yoga and am re-committing to fitness but in that moment which lingered and spilled into others the guilt, self judgment and self body shaming flooded in. Namaste my ass. *
I so thought I was beyond that and see it’s a forever practice to move through. It’s like the spotty clouds passing above. *

Have you tried our mini bath truffle scoops? Individually handcrafted with skin loving butters and oils like cocoa, shea, coconut and sweet almond. Hold a scoop underneath the running warm water to create bubbles. A real treat to your skin! 🛁

It ain't pretty, but I'll take it.
I started taking selfies when I go for an early morning walk/jog.
Keeping these as little reminders of this most unglamorous path I'm embarking on.
Some day, I want to go out on a RUN.
Im going to be that annoying lady running before the sun comes up, healthy AF.

Do you have a pregnant friend? Here are 3 things you can do to help her have an active and healthy pregnancy
1. Join her! It’s a lot more motivating to exercise with together. Invite her for a weekly walk. Offer to go with her to her first prenatal fitness class.
2. Offer to help her in a very specific way. “Is there anything I can do to help?” is usually met with “No. I’m okay.” Here are a few ideas: “I want to go for a walk with you this week. When is good for you?” I notice there is a prenatal aqua fitness class at the pool Thursdays evenings, I’m available to watch your daughter if you want to go this week.”
3. Help her find a local prenatal fitness or yoga program led by a certified pre and postnatal fitness specialist so that she can feel safe and also meet other moms-to-be in her community. #peam2018 #ittakesavillage
