Starting to experiment with long exposure. It’s pretty cool and I can see why it’s attractive. I got to witness the flow of clouds through the sky at night for this shot.

First time shooting long exposure. I can understand why it is attractive to photographers.

I found a secret path along Silver Lake and for the first time focused on long exposure photography of clouds. The wind pushed the columns and accumulations along nicely as I’ll share more clearly in the posts to come. The undisturbed snowfall on the lake makes this feel quieter than it really was last night. Swipe to see in black and white.

Savoring these sweet moments as we head into the New Year. There is something special about an image in black and white. This is one of my favorites from this last month!
I like when the snow turns into water droplets and as I look out to the window, I feel like I’m in the middle of a water color painting. As soon as the window rolls down it erases the water droplets and the water color turns back into reality. Not before long, they reappear and blend the colors together once again.
