Chest day today! It was a challenging and rewarding workout! I have a goal in mind to bench 225 lbs. (30) times by the end of summer. Today I started that goal and fatigued at 225 lbs. for a max out of 1 rep. I know this isn’t a significant amount of weight compared to some people, but it is over my body weight by 38 lbs. I also did some core workouts which I think are starting to show. My goals are not yet complete and nowhere near close. Just by looking at these pictures however, I can already see significant improvements in a little under a year! A steady diet and working out and running consistently has gotten me this far and can carry me further. It’s first day of Spring. I am setting my eye on new ways to become strong,healthy and continue-to drive my professional success. In the first few months of 2018 I’ve been focusing on a-lot of NEW and change but remained focused on fitness. Overcoming my hatred of running at @barryscanada is one of the ways that I’ve become stronger physically and mentally, which I believe has translated to my ability to kick ass in a new job . Now don’t get me wrong getting on that treadmill often requires preparing myself mentally as I still don’t ‘love’ running even though @the_cuddlycanadian makes if as fun as possible, and one of the reasons why I keep going back....and I’m definitely working on my sprints but overcoming what I use-to believe I could ‘never do’ allows me to see that possibilities are endless.
