Deadlifts 💪 These were actually turkey day deadlifts but I was so excited about food I totally forgot to put them up! 😂 But, here they are... sumo deads, moderate weight, I’m very much still working on technique as sumo isn’t my first preference for deadlifts. But my back is much happier doing them over conventional 😊👌🏻 Learning to pull sumo has been a long road.... trying to adjust for different leverages and understanding where my torque is coming from has been challenging but hey, I love a good challenge 👍🏻 I’ll keep hammering away at my weaknesses until they become my strengths!!! 💯

3 WAYS TO SELECT A GYM

You feel good working out in a gym, but do you seem to lose interest quickly? Don’t know why? What if you are hitting the wrong gym? Never thought about it, right?

I give you 3 ways to select your gym.

1.  Location of your Gym: The gym has to be near your house, not more than 10 mins of walking distance. This will help you move your lazy butt to gym even on your laziest day. The walk to the gym will also work a warmup before starting your workout.

2.  Minimum equipment: No matter how big, small or fancy your gym is select the one which has a free squat rack, barbell, heavy plates and heavy dumbbells (30+kgs). 3.  Trainers: Trainers play a key role. Make sure that the trainers help the clients even if they don’t take PT (Personal Training). Trainer’s job is to guide you through the exercises and to show you the right way to do it. That’s what they are hired for.
