Last day in Cali!! Gotta give a big shoutout to @rpstrength for helping me prep for this shoot - I’ve been following their lifting program (and food plan - the best I can. You guys know I love my cheeseburgers and pancakes🍔😁) for the last month and I’ve been so happy with how strong I’ve felt, especially my legs - even if I'm not quick enough to beat @jasonantin😜 It’s hard core but totally worth it. I love partnering with companies that I really believe in and these guys are legit. So thanks @rpstrength, and, so pumped to keep working with you guys!!

Loaded carries (Farmer carries, overhead carries, front rack carries, etc.) are some of my favorite movements to improve core strength, rotator cuff strength, and posture. I use both unilateral and bilateral carries with my athletes to clean up all kinds of dysfunctional patterns, and they can be safely implemented into any training program! Plus, a strong grip is always helpful 😜

Day 18 of dead hang challenge done! Coach Josh was feeling left out since he hadn't hung out with me yet, so how can I not include him in the fun? 😁 We hung for 1:15 and finished with several hangs. I struggled today...big time! I'm still committed and still hanging in there. I hope my fellow dead hangers are still with me! Happy Monday! ☺💪🔥

18th of #deadcember and DEADLIFT DAY!!!!! Axle deadlift is a very common event in strongman. If you can't tell from the images the diameter of the axle is larger than a barbell (usually by double). If you use an axle you will see that grip is tested much more than with a barbell and we are certain it will give out first before anything else doing reps.

In some events they allow straps for axle. WHAT?! Doesn't this negate the entire difference between events. Too bad strongman has moved away from grip heavy events. Let's see them bring back the grip events! In the meantime, throw some axle in your training and save the straps for barbell.

Going close to my 1 RM. it's been a while. Ran out of room. Good lifts. After a left arm recovery. Lift heavy get stronger!

Felt pretty fired up after my post-event training eat&sleep marathon, so more grip work was done.
Hit 3x5 @ 121lbs rolling thunder with both hands - lefty is coming up fast. Followed with 3x5 on axle rows and planks.
