🎯 I think the bow and arrow might be my favorite metaphor for binge eating.

🚫 For most of us, a super restrictive diet might last for a few days, maybe even a few weeks or a couple of months if you’re a physique competitor, but it’s only going to be a matter of time before you crack.

😝 If you follow any physique competitors on social media, then you may have noticed how it’s common practice for them to hoard and idealize certain foods until after their show.

😣 Well, the same thing happens to those of us who try to diet in the same manner. We obsess over certain foods and have to sit on our hands to avoid feeling out of control.

🐣 This kind of dieting will never be a sustainable way to lose and keep off unwanted body fat. If you’re dieting on foods you can’t see yourself eating six months or even six years from now, you’re mostly just wasting your time.

⛔ As long as you continue to view your diet as something you only do for a temporary period of time, you will fail.

🙌🏼 Instead, I would encourage you to practice the 80/20 rule. Aiming for 80% whole foods while leaving the remaining 20% of your calorie intake for ‘fun’ foods that keep you feeling satisfied long before you ever get the urge to binge.

Cardio core! This has been the most dynamic workout yet! Intervals of cardio moves and core exercises like these ones as REST?!? LOL yeah right, idk what was harder? The cardio or the core but I do know that I felt amazing when it was done!

Pro tip: Use small plates when you eat! Might sound crazy but it actually does make a difference in how your mind perceives portion control!

Today my Wellness Studio ladies each shared a WIN - these are the small daily actions which ultimately help us reach our BIG goals!

Besides waking up at 5AM to eat/workout, and following my meal plan to the T, I'm proud that I avoided the FREE junk food at work today! 🙌 Doesn't sound like much, but to me it was a HUGE step in the right direction!! Only 3 days in and my mindset has completely shifted. Can't wait to see where I end up with this program 😀

Sidenote: Today's workout was one of the HARDEST ones I've ever done, these round discs are NO joke!! 😆 Peep 👀 my stories for some of the moves..Soo worth it though! #77DaystoGO

DAY 3 / 80 :: CARDIO + ABS 👏🏼

The first time I did this workout back in August, I was legit dying. I had to take SO many breaks, and didn’t think I’d ever see the day where I could make it through my 40 minute training session without stopping.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But TODAY....... I DID, and I slayed that cardio sesh like a freaking BOSS.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Abs are cool ladies, but gains in your strength and physical ability are SO MUCH COOLER.

Split squats/Cossack squats/single leg deadlifts.
5 sets 5 reps minimum rest between sets
