#mogo is a small village in the #southcoast of #newsouthwales. It was established after the discovery of #gold in the area in the 1850s. This gold rush attracted many diggers to the Mogo area and a thriving town of hotels, churches and shops was born. After the closure of the last mine in 1984, the small village began attracting talented artists, craftspeople, and sellers.
Today, Mogo Village still holds its old character and here you can find a huge range of handcrafted items, unique gifts and artworks for every taste. Mogo inhabitants are proud of their clean and environmentally #sustainable practices. In 2004, Mogo Village was the first mainland Australia town to go #plasticbagfree.

We were delighted to host Sarah Norris from @norrisaroundaustralia at the Hereford Steakhouse on Saturday night. Sarah is a travel blogger currently spending a few days in Glen Innes and we look forward to reading about her Glen Innes adventure and seeing some more of her photos.

Weeds or flowers? That question always makes me think of when you go into an art gallery and you see a piece of artwork that means absolutely nothing to you. Then you read that it is an important piece that sold for $300,000. So you almost think you should like it, just because you have been told to. When it comes to art, I know for a fact that I don't know much about art, but I do know what I like. That is the important thing. Art only works if it moves you or touches your soul. It is a little like flowers. I don't like being told things are weeds. They may well be. But it doesn't stop them being beautiful. Sometimes art, flowers, weeds, even life, it is all a matter of how you look at things. I don't think we should let people tell us what we should like. We should just like things because they move us in some way. Whether it be touching our souls or making us smile. It doesn't matter how much you know about anything, all you need to know is what inspires you and what you like.

Why did the echidna cross the road? To get to the other side! I had to stop at the “echidna crossing” in South Gippsland a couple of weeks back. Love him!

Missing home so much 😭😭 I miss waking up to a sunrise through my bedroom window. I miss getting up early to work on the small farm. I miss going motorbike riding on the weekends. But what I miss most is those foggy mornings where there was frost everywhere and even though it was freezing cold, it was magical to watch haha #australianfarm #australiancountry #home
