Trust the process don’t rush the process..
Since booking a trip to Mexico over thanksgiving I have been trying to shed some pounds. This graph has been recording my progress through the good and bad times. I think it’s an awesome example of the process of anything in life. With some consistency, hard work, and focus things start to happen. I’ve lost 20lbs over the last three months. And it has been an up and down journey. Stick to your goals. Don’t rush. Stay consistent and above all trust the process don’t rush the process.💪🏋️‍♂️

@vteachfitness did it a couple weeks ago so you know I had to push him and hit 405 too😤😤. Stoked that I finally hit 4 plates. The second video shows my first time deadlifting again after my cut in August. I struggled to get 335 up and now 5 months later I’m pulling 405! Can’t stop here though coming for 5 plates next!
Side notes:
•Only complaint is I wish I held lockout for a split second longer
•Attempted 410 but failed on lockout so did some back off sets w/315 and finished up legs with hamstring curls and leg extensions (3X10 each)
• Finished the workout with 300 calories of stair master

So this week I was trying out a new split.🤘🏽

(Pull~Push~Legs) x 2, Rest🔥
.
Needless to say I’ve never been more mentally challenged.🤯
.
Training with @nionlifestyle, making sure we get those eccentric reps.💪🏽

We almost flaked once during the split and we called each other out.😂
.
If it matters, I lifted close to a cumulative total of 160,000 pounds.
.
Also as you can see I sneaked in a bit of other muscle groups because I felt that my body could handle it.👊🏽👊🏽

Been trying to work the legs, the chest and the biceps up. I make sure I hit them multiple times during the week.😎

Everyone who knew me growing up always knew me as the skinny kid who had no muscle mass. The same went for half of my Marine Corps career.
Then I was the fat guy. Sitting at 250 pounds and with a stomach big enough tying my shoes was a difficult task.

I’ve been on both sides of the fence. Too little, too much. Now, I’ve dedicated myself to putting weight where it belongs and cutting out what I don’t need. I’m still smaller than a lot of people I know, but I’m proud of where I’m at and where I’m going.
This post is a difficult one for me to post. It’s way outside my comfort zone because my legs are the most under developed part of my body. (I am also very white 😂)

I am two weeks into doing @smith.julian daily pump routines and have seen crazy results. I’ve also implemented his ideas into some of my own workouts. Helping me increase strength as well as muscle growth. -

As I lay in bed trying to fall asleep I’ve also been having a few days this past week where my insecurities have shown through-almost to a point that I can’t shake it, even though I’ve come so far on my own health and fitness. Crazy right? To think you can come so far and STILL have insecurities 🤪

Anyone who knows me well enough knows that being tall was something I really hated about myself-and something FAR beyond my control. Growing up and being the tallest girl towering over her classmates and barely fitting into her friends clothes because I needed bigger sizes to fit my body type and shape was hard-especially when talks of weight and whatnot came into play . What was even harder was some of the ridicule I got from people growing up for almost no reason at all over things I could not control on my own then resulting in a bad relationship with food in general. 🤦🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️

Here I lay at 12:30 am on this Monday morning knowing full well I have work in a few hours. In this coming week, I will actively choose to love the unique parts of me that God gave me to work in this life with. I will stand taller rather than shrink down to meet the “normal” expectation of how tall or a short a girl should be nor will I accept the “ideal” image of what a girl should look like. Fun post workout treat alert!
By no means is this something you should start eating after every work out, post workout shakes are by far the best way to recover after the gym! But if you have a sweet tooth like me and need to switch it up a little for fun, these were so yummy! They’re even @johnniekoss approved!

1 1/2 scoop phormula-1 loop d fruit protein
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 C marshmallows
4 C fruity pebbles

All you have to do is melt the coconut oil, throw in the marshmallows and stir until melted, then mix in the protein and fruity pebbles. Throw it in a 9x11 pan and let them sit about 15 minutes, and they’re all done! So easy and delicious. Shoutout to @1stphorm for this idea!
