Being a co-founder of @foodbeast has inspired me in ways I never knew possible. Some of the biggest inspirations have come from our network, individuals without a specific culinary background, interminably dedicated to creating foods in which the world has never seen. Here's looking at you @dudefoods, @peepmysneaks @thevulgarchef. There are dozens more.
@culinarybrodown specifically inspired the tenacity for me to create this reicpe for the pictured Tomatillo Ice Cream Churro Tostada topped with Avocado Buttercream and Mexican chocolate wafers. He seems to tackle the unknown so gracefully, it gave me courage to do the same. Tomatillo ice cream was actually bomb, and subtle allowing for sweeter flavors to come through and compliment. @rudeluv helped me with the churro tostadas, he's the house tortilla guy. #foodbeast

Octopus & Uni Aguachile Tostada from LA's @cevicheproject by @deleontequila. Octopus, Uni, avocado, heirloom tomato, cucumber , onion, corn, lime, cilantro and habanero oil. Next pop up at the Hollywood @mondrianhotels is on Thursday, August 20. #foodbeast
