I've read two books that I absolutely adored lately, and I read two that were ok.
I thought Little Fires Everywhere was spectacular. Complex stories interwoven with vivid characters and lots of twists! I highly recommend! I finally read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and I'm so mad at myself for waiting so long to read it. I have to admit that when I first started it - I wanted to stop. There is a moment in the beginning that seemed too reminiscent of the Weinstein situation - but I kept on and I'm glad I did. This book will be nothing that you expected it to be. If you love @tjenkinsreid, it has her usual beautiful love story and lots of tears, but she really threw me for a loop with this book!
Best Day Ever was insane - I could see them making it into a movie or mini-series. If you enjoyed the #dirtyjohnpodcast recently you will definitely enjoy this book. I enjoyed Always by Sarah Jio (I always love her books) but I have soooooo many questions still after reading this. Has anyone else read it? Let's discuss in the DMs.
Currently reading The Party and I also included some books I got recently from @bookofthemonth! I can't wait to read Emma in the Night and We are Never Meeting in Real Life. .
Also, should I start a Facebook group for #spiveys📚club ? Did I miss any books that I have to read?

It's that time of year again where I once again begin my battle against all the #melasma I acquired over the Summer!
I have to say, this year my melasma hasn't been as bad as previous years. (I've included some previous pictures so y'all can see how bad it used to be.) The weather was weird this year in the Hamptons, so I feel like I wasn't in the pool or at the beach as much so that might have something to do with it? Or it could be that I've really tried to change my gut health over the past couple of months?
Yesterday, I saw one of my many aestheticians, Camellia Zheng at @tribecamedspa, because I wanted to do an intense chemical peel. Camillia actually felt like maybe my previous peels might have been too intense and might have led to more #hyperpigmentation around my mouth (once I did feel that I had scarred). She decided that a more gentle PCA Sensi peel would be better for my sensitive skin with some add ons for hyperpigmentation. Then, after a week, I will implement some of the @obagimedical Nu-Derm products into my routine. After 2 weeks we will check in with my progress in case we want to try another peel or a laser in addition but for now this is what the plan is!
There is never a quick solution with melasma. I cannot stress enough how important it is to find someone who will give you a plan on how to manage your melasma. It will never completely go away but there are ways to dramatically lighten the areas.
The peel was $325 (I actually got $100 discount bc I had referred two people 😊they have an awesome referral program ***mention me if you head there***) so I paid $225 plus I bought a couple of the products from the obagi line! #tolietryhoe

Posting this pic for 2 reasons:
1. This is right after we got kicked out (we were only there for 10 mins). 2. This might be my new fav pic of @caitlink09 🤣 #samslastrodeo🏇

Thought I'd post my favorite books that I read this Summer for #readabookday ❤️
I also have to add in @aswinn's book Between Me and You (I didn't have the covered kindle version when I read it) but y'all have to pre-order it for January!
What were y'all's favorite reads this summer? #spiveys📚club

Everyone's always talking about that Summer body but I like working on that Winter body. 💪🏻❄️☃️ You better believe that if I'm getting up for 5am workouts twice a week, I will only do it with my bestie (@knl2811) and the best in the biz (@clewis1and1). 👯🤴🏾 He trains Victoria's Secret models soooooo basically I'll be trying out for America's Next Top Model this time next year. 🤣🤣Check out @1and1women and @1and1life for way better inspo or to schedule a session before he becomes impossible to train with. 💁🏼

Another Sag Harbor Summer in the books. 😭

Had the best day with Berly and fam yesterday on the boat. Got to enjoy a beautiful lunch at Sunset Beach, where we had to practically swim to the beach from the boat. Was a perfect way to close out the season! ❤️ I get so emotional at the end of every Summer because I really cherish this time with B. Almost 7 years ago, I watched him take his first steps on the beach. The beach is a special place for us (even if we didn't get a chance to go to Big Beach this year) and I hope Berly will someday appreciate these memories as much as I do. 🌊

Even though it is amazing to watch B grow and become more independent, I get so sad thinking of how he needs me less and less (even though I always tell him that I will go to college and do his laundry for him). 🤣

Anyone else get so emotional at the end of Summer? *currently crying in a car on the way to NYC as I type this*

How beautiful are these steaks? 😍

This Summer, I've really tried to make more of an effort to pay attention to where/who I'm buying my food from. While, I'm not always successful, I'm aiming for more local, organic, humanely raised, and grass-fed products. 🍏🥒🐷🐄🐓 Luckily, I have some pretty smart and innovative friends that invited me to test @harbourtrading's potential new beef offering which is a natural grass fed 50% wagyu and 50% angus beef product from their trusted farmer in Iowa.

I have to admit that I usually go for a filet when eating steak because I'm basic and lazy but these steaks were out of this world! Marbling adds so much more flavor. 😍Berly almost ate an entire steak! 😳 Slide through the pics for Berly's glowing recommendation. 🤣

Had a magical and 🍷🍷🍷 filled weekend celebrating @lisamorrisey with my former sister wives and new friends. We might have drank a lil too much tequila, hated on tswift's new song, and scared all the customers and waitstaff at Crush...but we made it down the Russian River without melting or drowning so I'm just really proud of us y'all.

Epic 7th birthday for Berly! @shunsy14 helped to get us a reservation at @empsummerhouse and we brought a delicious @milkbarstore birthday cake! Little did we know, the amazing creator of this cake, @christinatosi, was behind us! How crazy is that?
