Watermelon Blackberry Spritzer!
This juice is super hydrating and packed full of antioxidants that help to prevent harmful oxidation that can speed up aging and cause serious disease! This is one of my many beauty #juicerecipes that will keep you glowing! Drink it by itself or add sparkling water to make a spritzer, sooo good!
Recipe:
2 cups of watermelon
1/2 cup blackberries
Small handful of mint
Juice the fruit, then fill a wine glass with 1/2 juice and 1/2 sparkling water for the freshest most delicious spritzer ever!

THE ULTIMATE COLD AND FLU SHOT ELIXIR!

I was feeling a little under the weather so I had to turn to the power of nature to help me out!! So so much can be fixed naturally and while my co-workers were suggesting Thera-flu and Dayquil…I knew that mother nature has all I need to get better and do it quickly! This elixir tastes great and the gingerade kombucha (in addition to other benefits) adds extra natural sweetness to the already naturally sweet carrot and apple. THIS HELPS because it mellows the garlic, onion and cayenne!

6 carrots- Carrots are full of vitamin A, which if you are lacking in can weaken your immune system.

1 apple- Apples are full of soluble fiber which causes increased production of a special anti-inflammatory protein which helps us to recover faster from infection.

1 lemon (with or with out peel but leave as much of the pith as possible!)- Lemons have lots of vitamin C and help to loosen and eliminate phlegm.

2 cloves of garlic- Antibacterial,Antiviral,Antifungal

A small piece of onion-Anti-inflammatory,Antioxidant

Sprinkle of cayenne- Anti-inflammatory and Vitamin C

Sprinkle of Himalayan Salt-Detox,Anti-inflammatory

1 Gingerade Kombucha-Kombucha is helpful in stimulating the immune system and ginger helps with congestion and eases nausea.

Juice all of the ingredients then add kombucha. Enjoy!

You may remember a while ago GT’s classic kombucha was taken off the shelves and forced to undergo lab testing. One thing I've learned over the past year is your health journey is your own. I've learned so much and am proud of how far I've come, but never do I ever want to stop learning....I'll never know it all, and none of us can really say definitively what works best for EVERYONE. As you all know, I was vegan for a while and at first I felt amazing, but after a while my body didn't feel as good as it did initially. Getting all my protein from vegan sources exclusively was tough and my body had this unavoidable craving for meat. I honestly thought meat was a huge source of my stomach problems but realized I was honestly just eating shit...and when u go form eating shit to vegan and juicing you're bound to see a lot of improvement. I decided to go back to eating meat, but embarked on a journey to simply eat as clean as possible....making everything from scratch and using ingredients that are mostly local/grass fed/sustainable etc. The backlash I received from vegans wasn't really surprising, the constant bombardment of negativity...again, not surprising but disappointing. A lot of #vegans are great people, but it is literally the mission of some to try to make u feel like shit if u choose to eat meat or revert back to a lifestyle that includes it. That attitude of superiority is really nasty and and completely misguided. I respect whatever path you choose, but to be so nasty isn't necessary and will not get people to join your movement. As the saying goes,"DO YOU". SUNSHINE JUICE

When you see fruits and veggies that are purple and red you know you're getting a a huge dose of antioxidants that in addition to many other things have been shown to help prevent pre-mature aging, heart disease and cancer! Make sure you're always eating and drinking lots and lots of color. If your plate is only brown, tan and white your body is not getting the essential nutrients it needs to function properly!
