Happy Halloween from me and #MyDailyMandalas not sure how I would color the background of this one. Maybe yellows behind the spiderweb and oranges past the blue green smoke. What do you think?
Tigger decided to sleep on me tonight. Not sure how I won the honor lately
I need a haircut. Gotta figure out someone who can style my hair not just shave it all off like Alex and Carlie keep saying they want to. Anybody good with clippers and willing to come to the house?
Today's #watercolor. My second attempt at a cat. Postcard art requested by one of my home health nurses. still not quite what I am going for, but it makes me happy to learn more about using water colors and water color pencils and about the challenges of keeping details when you downsize to postcard size from a large sketch
Carlie made me baked home fries and ribs. Wish I could eat ketchup or barbecue sauce. She put some sugar and salt on the ribs tho which is real tasty #homecooking #comfortfoods #gratitude
Today's effort for #MyDailyMandalas resulted in a poem to go with it. "Your beauty is sharp and has its own twists and turns. Daring others to, "just try it." Who first tread on hallowed paths should apologize, not solely to you, but to those who lie bloodied by your thorns.
Ducky carved my design into our craft pumpkin and it turns out it is made out of high density foam so maybe next year I can carve my own. My hands are still too shaky post reaction.
I want to be a Sandra R painting for Halloween or at least make a mask inspired by her paintings. Was just discussing ideas with Ducky on how to make a mask that would fit right over one of my filter masks. I think we came up with a workable plan to create a form, and then I could remove the form and paper machet pieces of comics over it
October is #Dysautonomia awareness month. Pass it on. #theRBSofIG (or autonomic dysfunction, autonomic neuropathy) is a condition in which the autonomic nervous system (ANS) malfunctions. It is an umbrella term for various forms of ANS malfunction. Dysautonomia is a type of neuropathy affecting the nerves that carry information from the brain and spinal cord to the heart, bladder, intestines, sweat glands, pupils, and blood vessels. Dysautonomia may be experienced in a number of ways, such as difficulty adapting to changes in posture, as well as digestive symptoms.

The diagnosis is achieved through functional testing of the autonomic nervous system, focusing on the organ system affected. Investigations may be performed to identify underlying disease processes that may have led to the autonomic neuropathy that is causing the dysautonomia. Symptomatic treatment is available for many symptoms associated with autonomic neuropathy, and some disease processes can be treated directly.
After I finish reading Fangirl I will download this book and read it for #bookcluboginstagram anyone else wanna read along with me? Totally not my style book but I do like the book club and it challenges me to read outside my wheelhouse.
So glad the Internet is back on so my next book could download. I didn't think I would like Fan Girl but after finishing one of Rainbow Rowwell's other books I was intrigued. Now I'm hooked and zooming through this book. To my IG friends who read it, are these vampire magician books with Simon and Baz actual books? I have to google that I guess
