Reason 33727 depression is strange: I never really liked popcorn before in my whole life. Now, I’m fixated on it. More so over my usual desired depression eats of a bag of chips.

We’re here for the leftist social, come out — connected and communicate to other likeminded people.

3 more months, a return to the “day job” with limited capacity of 2 shifts, 5 hours a day. C-PTSD (anxiety and depression) is real and sometimes it means shifting your capacities while healing. It has been extremely amazing to have a completely open schedule but at the same time, I’m also ready to have some structure back that will still allow for my healing. Take care of yourself and it might be exhausting but you’ve gotta do it. I didn’t want to do it for a long time but now the long time is finding and defining what means healing for me, what means taking care of myself. I had horrible self neglect until I found team of people who saw what I wanted to do and made it happen. It might take time to get medicine that works but the process of being able to sleep, rest and be a better me is for the better. If anyone wants to privately talk about my process, let’s talk. I couldn’t have done with this all without @meet_erica breaking down her process — everyone can have a different one but to see her openness about options taught me what mine are. #mentalillness #endthestigma #mentalheathmatters

Nazis not allowed on Nicollet Ave. Walked back into the bodega to see if they had duck tape to cover it up quickly. #minneapolis

Finding out the pending status of my laptop, I might be able to take it apart myself if I could find my tools but y’know, let’s figure out what other thoughts they have beyond my capacity.

Do you have a book you’ve read time and time again because of the effect on you? I would say the most recent book (since 2013) that has greatly effected me is Wild by @cherylstrayed.

“I had diverged, digressed, wandered, and become wild. I didn't embrace the word as my new name because it defined negative aspects of my circumstances or life, but because even in my darkest days—those very days in which I was naming myself—I saw the power of the darkness. Saw that, in fact, I had strayed and that I was a stray and that from the wild places my straying had brought me, I knew things I couldn't have known before.” — @cherylstrayed #bookstagram #bookworm #cherylstrayed #quote
