The most beautiful day in NYC
In the backstreets of Mumbai this Gujarati canteen was legit the best meal of the year and I reckon @alicelouisewaters agrees. Thanks @jamshyd and @rashmiudaysingh for the rec. @prior.knowledge 📸 @gentlandhyers

THANK YOU @cntraveler for your words in this amazing 14-page feature 'At a time when access and experience have become the new luxuries, David's instinct for finding what's truly special in a place (he's given us tips on everything from the best nightclub in Berlin to the most private cove in which to moor a boat in Sydney Harbor) and his vast network of contacts that includes princes and fishermen make him exactly who you want to be traveling with' 🙏 @pilar_guzman @wordmover @beccabeq and @yolandaedwards I'm genuinely so humbled by your full hearted endorsement and encouragement. And thanks to to @jamshyd @lucyinindia Sameer and @gentlandhyers who made the dream come alive. Pictured an individually tailored room @ahilya.fort one of my all time favourite shots that for me says everything about what @prior.knowledge is and will evolve into in Spring 2018
Still too nervous to read a review of my new project @prior.knowledge by @cntraveler because your family are almost always your toughest critics. They don't let you get away with a thing and that is the way it should be. That being said I peeked at the launch party tonight and I know the story is 14 pages (holy effing shit! Does that even happen anymore?!) and full of glorious @gentlandhyers photos and @skye_mcalpine words. So floored by the support. Thank you! More tomorrow ❤️
Happy Diwali! The Indian festival of light. Here's a flashback to @prior.knowledge 'a inaugural trip. A highlight at @ahilya.fort sending 1000 lights down the holy Narmada River. A floating carpet along the river each carrying a wish or thought for a loved one here or passed. A goosebump inducing, throat catching moment ❤️❤️❤️

Guys I don't usually repost but go check out my colleague @sophy_roberts in Papua New Guinea. Her pictures of that incredible place are entirely thrilling and uplifting. I can never quite believe this country is so close yet so far from where I grew up. Why have you New Guinea Priors never taken me? Hmmm @misscp88 ? 😘😘
Shiva's trident. A walking stick cum talisman of the charismatic and wizened sardhu who find their home on the ghats of Varanasi. Some exciting developments over @prior.knowledge to be announced in the next few days...

A lone boab on an endless road in The Kimberley. I cannot believe it was exactly one year ago that @petrinatinslay and I were shooting our Wild West feature for @cntraveler which yielded so many exquisite images. What an evening this was. Racing across empty country, through a bushfire as the sun set and the blood moon rose. The setting was the kind of terrifying natural beauty you find so often in Australia. I've lost count of how many exhilarating moments I've had with many photographers in tow but this was one of the greatest and set the tone for a wonderful collaboration
A proper stand up Italian bar. Perfectly interpreted for NYC and not theme-y BS. Bliss but I bet you are going to have to invest in a bigger espresso machine stat. @jotarasco and @dhmeyer siete bravi 👏

Not avo toast. Beautifully bejewelled breakfast poha with milky tea @ahilya.fort in Maheshwar with @prior.knowledge 📸@andreagentl
Delighted to see two of my great pals @darina_allen of Ireland's Ballymaloe and Rod and Sev of Tasmania's @agrariankitchen connect in Tassie yesterday. Total kindreds at other ends of the planet. Darina is on tour in Oz so if you see an tirelessly enthusiastic Irish woman with her signature red glasses darting about and embracing all and everything in her sight, that's the one and only Darina! It's been many years since her last trip so we're honoured to be able to point her in the direction of some of our favourite people and places in Australia. Agrarian Kitchen being right at the top of that list @prior.knowledge
'Eventually, we pull up to the ramshackle Azienda Agricola Biologica di Gregorio Rotolo, out of which the bearded cheesemaker lumbers with a cockeyed red seafarer’s cap and a rollie cigarette dangling from his lips, which he removes to issue a guttural call down the valley announcing milking time.' Outtakes from my Abruzzo cover story in @cntraveler 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑
