Here’s an easy peasy pumpkin craft to try today! This one is a hit every year! 🎃
It’s PUMPKIN WEEK 🎃 and we are moving into full blown Halloween craziness over here! Our indoor pumpkin patch is pretty much my favorite activity ever even though the hay gets everywhere. 😂😜 Crossing our fingers 🤞 we snag some time to set ours up this week and FINALLY decorate for Halloween. We are so behind this year! If you have any favorite Halloween traditions that you do every year, pass them along! Have any pumpkin crafts you love? Share those too! We have a bunch of parties over the next few weeks and I am looking for ideas!
So much fun celebrating this kid’s birthday a few days early with a trip to the @museumoficecream. More pics are in stories. He thought it was AH-mazing!!!
It’s MONSTER WEEK, which means we made finger-painted monsters for our Virtual Book Club for Kids this week AND read Go Away Big Green Monster by Ed Emberley!! If you have any other favorite monster books for littles, pass them along!
.
Check out our monsters on the blog. Click the link in my profile.
Rolling in dirt, eating apples, stuffing her face with apple cider donuts, and running through the orchard = heaven for this girl!

More pics from our first trip to @applehillca in stories. If you’ve been, tell us your favorite spots. We didn’t have nearly enough time and need to go back!
Pumpkin Patch date with my favorite 4-year-old and forty of his friends. 😜🎃
Anyone care to guess how much of the rice ended up all over the kitchen floor? 😂 She sure thought her Farm sensory bin was a blast though. 🐄🐖🚜🐑
This week is FARM WEEK 🚜🐖🐄 for our Virtual Book Club for Kids and we have a bunch of farm themed activities on the blog. We shared an easy farm animal dump and sort activity to try today! Before we played the kids hunted around the house to find all of our Little People and LEGO farm animals. Click the the link in my profile for more details and to see the other farm activities.
I sure love this breakfast helper! ❤️This weekend our church has a General Conference with an online broadcast. We love making a special breakfast while doing some activities together while we watch. It is always entertaining to see how well we can actually listen with four crazy kids goofing around. 😜
Have any leftover pool noodles? 🙌 We do! It has been in the nineties this week so we are still using them! It doesn't totally feel like Fall yet but this weekend we are jumping all in with Halloween stuff! It is my favorite! .
.
To make the pool noodle pumpkins we just dipped pieces of pool noodles in paint and stamped! We used other cut up pieces of pool noodles to make the stem. So easy and fun!
It's ACORN WEEK and we're doing a lot of acorn rolling (or in Annabelle's case, acorn throwing 😂). When we finally took a break from this activity she had a HUGE tantrum. It was that awesome. Details are on the blog. We're reading Scaredy Squirrel by Melanie Watts this week too.

This week was awesome, but exhausting! During busy weeks bedtime 😴 can either be my favorite time of the day or else it can be an all out battle zone. I'm sharing some favorite calming bedtime activities on the blog today. If you have any others- share them please! Reading together is one of my favorites (of course!) and Annabelle has been loving this darling new bedtime book we were sent from @scholasticinc author @_kellimcneil. We are giving away one copy, so click on the link in my profile to read more about the book and enter our giveaway. 📚
SPARKLY FALL LEAVES 🍁🍂✨are the perfect way to celebrate the first day of Fall! Collage crafts are my favorite things to make with toddlers because they are opened ended and easy. Plan for your house to be covered with sequins for this one... but it is totally worth it! Check stories for more Fall activity favorites!
Making lunches is one of my least favorite things! This year I've turned it over to the big kids and now we have a family meeting on Mondays, plan lunches out for the week, and then they help me pack everything up each morning. I love it!
.
#DoleMixations from @dolesunshine are on the top of the list lately since they are easy to open, have 5 flavors to pick from, and the writeable lids mean that I can sneak a note or even a reminder into lunches as a surprise. Check out some other silly ways to make lunch special or festive in my video.
.
It's the little things, that can end up meaning a lot to kids. .
Do you ever sneak a note into your child's lunchbox? Do you have any other EASY ideas to make lunch special? Pass along your favorite things to put in lunches too!

This gift from @sweetpea_designs could not have arrived on a better day. 🌈 It is gloomy and dismal here and my news feed is cluttered with sadness and heart break. 😢💔 I love the reminder that there is goodness everywhere, even in tragedies and hurricanes and earthquakes, if we look for it. .

We have a few colorful leaves landing in our backyard and we are ready for FALL 🍁🍂and leaf activities over here! Ryan and Annabelle are loving our Weekly Virtual Book Club themes and they had a blast stomping around playing this leaf color game. You can grab the free printable cards on the blog along with reading the simple instructions. My kiddos love any excuse to jump, stomp, and hop around our house!
Our last apple activity of the week was stamping with apples & paint! This is a "must do" activity every year. Annabelle tried but was STARVING and wanted to eat her apple with paint on it 😂🍎 so I think we'll wait to try it again with her another day. @ettafi taught us how to cut ridges in the apples to make stamping a piece of cake. Check out the pics in stories for details.

Anyone else do this every year? Have any other favorite apple activities you love?
These mini muffin tin apple 🍎pies are on our list to make today. We attempted to pick up a prescription and get ingredients for our pies earlier and my two littlest ones got into a battle of epic proportions 😡😂 over a car shopping cart steering wheel. With everyone screaming and crying we just bee-lined outta there and I'm crossing my fingers 🤞we make it back later this afternoon but I'm not holding my breath. 😬 Thank goodness for naptime/quiet time! 😜 If you have any favorite apple treats, send the recipes my direction!
We did some intense apple volcano making this afternoon inspired by @growingajeweledrose. Annabelle turned it into a fun sensory experience as she tried to touch and taste the baking soda and vinegar. 😝 I have a few pictures and videos in stories along with a link to instructions. So check them out! We were also inspired by @busytoddler's hidden colors fizzy activity and tried a few that way too! We're loving APPLE WEEK so far. 🍎🍎
