This month, our work to prevent cigarette litter continues. Earlier this year, with help from a Keep America Beautiful grant, we installed cigarette receptacles on fishing piers participating in our Responsible Pier Initiative. We've been tracking how many butts the receptacles collected and the conclusion is they are working! We have counted over 6,000 cigarette butts on just nine Florida piers! Find out more at the link in our bio!

This week we have received over 60 hatchlings that were in the canals at the Port of Palm Beach. Our rehab team worked with Port of the Palm Beach employees and guests to retrieve the hatchlings in the washed up sargassum. We work with the FWC to release these hatchlings about 5 miles off shore when there is enough sargassum.
