You know you've been using your boy as weights when he started asking to take pics like this!

It is an honored to be invited to @metrotv on behalf of our support group @singlemomsindonesia yesterday.
Biggest surprise is to found out just hours before we went on air live that the Indonesian Minister of Social Affairs Ibu @khofifah.ip would be there too.
Not only I got to meet her but to have a short discussion with her on air about the negative stigmas we single moms still face here and receiving her acknowledgment was pure golden! I know this is just a small steps but huge one for our support group!
Thank you Metro TV for having SMI. 💖💖💖
“It isn't what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.” - Dale Carnegie
These two hard-working Balinese ladies truly embodied the above quote.
They were still smiling despite the manual labor that they were in the midst of. They were laughing and happily waved, gave me peace signs as we drove slower and from a rolled down window I pointed to my camera asking for their permission.
Life is really what you make of it. Sometimes you may not be able to control the circumstances you are currently in, but you have the power to choose joy and being happy.
What makes you smile today? What brings you joy? 😊💖

Spotted these sisters on my way to downtown Ubud last year.
They weren’t so sure at first about a stranger in a car asking if she could take their pictures 😅
Swipe to the next photos to see them warmed up as I told them I love their traditional Balinese outfits and I think they look absolutely gorgeous. After a little small conversation, they were more relaxed.
Their smile widened, their eyes lit up.
And just like that, they made my day. ✨✨✨
Did you know that the elephants are the most empathic sentient being, they can die out of grief because they feel so much? When someone they love pass away they can grief so much they starve themselves to death.
When I get up close and started to pet Iweng, I got to see into her eye and it sent chills down my spine. There's like an unspoken wisdom and love in her eyes. There was something so magical and beautiful about being that close.
From these elephants we human can learn so much if we are being open enough.
Thank you Iweng and Clara @royalsafari_bgr 🐘🐘❤️❤️
As parents, it is our responsibility to teach our children to be kind and loving to animals. To teach and show them how to respect their nature and space.
I am so grateful and proud that my boy was able to ask the hard questions to the handler at @royalsafari_bgr about the welfare of this magnificent being and wanted to be assured that they are taking good care of them. 🐘🐘🐘
At @royalsafari_bgr one of the experiences you could try is the elephant ride.
Iweng, the elephant we rode is such a gentle giant. It was a short ride and she was being handled gently by the handler.
Have you ever ride an elephant before?
In the mornings, allow the sunlight to seep into your being. Let it awaken your sense of gratitude and allow blessings to unfold in itself. Just remember to water your garden of gratitude always 💖✨⭐️

Some days, you just have to shut the monkey mind, be truly present in the moment and TRUST.
Taken at @royalsafari_bgr restaurant
Some days you just have to get up early, forget about makeups and went to the roof to soak up the beautiful morning view of surrounding mountains and be grateful for every single thing you have in life so far ❤️

May you both learn about the importance of nature and animal conservation, my darlings 💖💖💖

Reminder can come from anywhere!🔥
From checking your Instagram feed down to scrolling through your Facebook feed.
This morning my reminder comes from @blazebellbliss and @salsabeela posts. Both were "coincidentally" talked about writing and it nudged me so hard I was like "Wow, this is just what my soul needed!"
I haven't journal in awhile and knowing myself, I always always do better when I do. Pen/markers to paper is my ammunition really!
So thank you ladies for sharing your lights and ignite the fire in my belly today! ✨✨✨
What about you? What set your soul on fire, people?

Exactly on the day that my world changes, I had my first ever experience with an Akashic Record Reading from a lady I met on Facebook.
What's that you asked? Akashic Record is a deeper reading that dives deep into your very core, your soul. The soul's very essence and expression, potentials and purposes, can be revealed. Issues of the lifetime are brought to light from a spiritual perspective.  Both favorable and difficult patterns that are present can be identified. Corrective measures required to establish harmony can be seen.
Siri's energy is very gentle, loving and kind. Her guidance makes me feel safe during the whole process. She shared with me what I need to work on in order to progress. I gained much needed clarity just from our first session, 30 minutes went by too quickly I have to say!
Do check her out on Facebook "Big City Reiki" where she offers deals on her services also her website or you could email her directly:✨✨
Have you ever done this before?

On my Weekly Love Note 💌 today (sent out earlier), I wrote about how we as mothers have such huge impact on our children, especially daughters.

When you learn about mother's wounds you will understand what I'm trying to say here.

This week's Love Note was inspired by a little 'scene' I witnessed in an elevator couple of days ago when a mother casually made fun of her own daughter's weight to me. My heart aches for that beautiful little girl.

May we as mothers continue to be mindful of the things we said to our children for we never know how powerful they might be. They could either uplift them or break them inside.

These words of wisdom are like nectar to my weary soul for the past few weeks.

I am currently hooked on the spoken comforting words from @sarahfinds at #LiveAwake podcast. Look her up online.

I listen to them daily and they never fail to uplift my spirit when the going has been very challenging lately.

Something is shifting in a huge way in my life, I can sense it...even when I couldn't figure out the how or the fine details yet and that is ok. It will be revealed in due time.

What is your favorite podcasts? Do share! ❤️
Three years ago, I created a Facebook group for Indonesian single moms out of a strong desire to have a safe haven for us. A place free of judgment in a society that still deemed single mothers as a bad thing. A place where we could support one another through the ups and downs of living as a single mother. A place where we could share our deepest inner struggles and celebrate every step we take forward in creating a happy life for us and our children.

Started with 3, today we have 300 members @singlemomsindonesia spread across Indonesia (even abroad). Seeing the ripples effects from our members brought peace into my soul knowing that I have some parts in all these. To see these ladies banded together and lift each other up...brought the best satisfactions within my being. Witnessing them soaring high in their new life after difficult period make my heart swell with proud. In the past 3 years, our support group has grown and evolves exponentially. It certainly brought huge learning opportunities for me personally.

This year we focused on holding monthly events and gatherings to add values and reach deeper into creating lives that are not merely surviving but thriving. This truly cannot be done alone without the amazing support we've been receiving. I am so grateful for all of the support we've been receiving over these past 3 years. From the pro-bono speakers who shared their knowledge and expertise with us to members who are eager to learn and who gives back.

My wish is to share with our members that being single mother does not mean your life sucks! It is my dream to awaken our members and make them see how amazing they really are as a woman and as a mother, way beyond their inner struggles and tribulations. It is my wish that each and every member will realize how they too could change their lives and be that confident happy woman they were born to be and move past their divorce or painful histories.

Huge thank you to the heart and soul our admins give to help me run this group. Thank you to everyone who never stops believing in our visions and purposes!
