Ahhhhhh what a day for day 1 @thebod_ #thebodweekend so overwhelmed with meeting so many amazing women from all over the globe! One of the key things I found with my 'vegan week' was just how easy it was to go over my carb and fat allowance by eating such high nutrient dense foods where nuts are the base. Depending on your goals would be the decider as to whether following or sticking to a macro plan is beneficial. An example would be weight loss vs healthy lifestyle change. I have a very high food allowance and I still struggled. I found that there are great high protein alternatives like the soy free tempeh I found, however it was certainly a challenge! I am 100% still doing my VLOG & BLOG on how I went, recipes and other tips I found along the way- I am just waiting for @thebod_ weekend- as we have been frantic organising the gym, goodie bags and events on for the next 3 days! Being a boss can be daunting, long hours, it can mean a lot of unseen hours, tricky decisions and a lot of stress. It means people rely on you. It means being the decision maker and the risk taker. But do you know what makes it so amazing? For starters, I get to work with the most amazing girls who I call my friends. I am able to bring my twins to work to cause chaos on everyone's day πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ I am able to provide people with jobs they enjoy, all whilst helping thousands of woman all over the globe πŸ˜±πŸ™ŒπŸ» This weekend is our annual @thebod_ weekend- where woman fly in, take part in workshops, seminars and more and (I hope!) walk away inspired and with more information then when they walked in! πŸ™ŒπŸ» I cannot wait!!! With special deals on some of my favourite brands (cleo Harper, happy way, Lorna jane and more!) I cannot WAIT for this weekend! I have been a tad quiet on social due to organising this weekend and my tonsils πŸ™„πŸ˜« but I am getting PUMPED!!! Twins fascinate so many people, myself included. I never really thought about the details until I myself found out i was expecting twins- from the hereditary nature, to identical to fraternal. There is so much information. After finding out I was having twin girls, then finding out they were identical, I couldn't wait to see how they would grow and have their own unique personalities. ☺️
Whilst the girls are only 2- they sure assert themselves enough to know that they're quite little opposites- Evie loves having her hair done, dancing, she loves to draw and refuses to walk anywhere πŸ™„ Aria, is more independent, she loves cars, dirt and keeping up with her brothers or chasing a thrill. 😫(like jumping off a couch or table) πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ a lot of people have asked 'how' we are parenting them- like everything everyone has their say on everything from dressing them, to sleep arrangements to feed time. My parenting has been any different to the boys. They have previously shared rooms, worn matching clothes, eat from the same bowl and have to often share presents. They're a-okay. But hey, like everything- every parenting decision that only you and your baby daddy need to be okay with 😜
I still need to pinch myself that I am blessed with these two in my life πŸ˜πŸ™ˆπŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸŒˆ

This year I (because let's be honest, Nath ain't doing any shopping πŸ™„πŸ˜‚) am making a conscious effort to not 'over gift' or gift plastic fantastic just for the sake of it. 😫
Normally I purchase things I love throughout the year and wrap and label it as I go. But I have found I lose track of what I have got, how many I actually have and what we actually need. 😫 we always do a massive clean out of the kids rooms and donate prior to Christmas which certainly helps, however this year I am actually writing a list and the gift I wish to purchase next to it. 😊 I am loving usable gifts like cooking boxes, herb planters, groceries or fuel vouchers- because let's be honest we all have enough candles to last a lifetime, but the regular items we need are often forgotten. πŸ™πŸΌ
I would LOVE to hear your hacks or ideas on what you have found works as I am clearly needing ANY pointers I can get? πŸŒ·πŸ™πŸΌ

A lot of people say to me 'how would you cope if you gained weight?' πŸ˜±πŸ’πŸ½πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈ
Well god forbid πŸ˜°πŸ˜‚ hahaha well I haven't trained all week due to our wedding anniversary and then sickness, in fact I haven't stuck to any sort of macros or food ratios or even checked because to be honest, my priority has been elsewhere. #family On the scales I have gained around 3/4kgs- however in reality my care factor is probably a -3/4. πŸ˜‚ so in other words, coping just fine. 😜 My weight fluctuates so quickly depending on sodium, fibre and training so I know in a weeks time it will be back to 'normal'. (Whatever that is at the time) 😜
So remember, whilst I live my life 'lean' year round, my ultimate goal is health, family happiness and strength goals. (Unless I am competing, then the order is still health, family happiness and shred goals) 😜
Whenever I get my period my weight changes, whenever I eat high sodium foods my weight changes, whenever I eat high fibre- guess what? Yep, my weight changes. That's why I ALWAYS say to measure it, but take it with a grain of salt (literally πŸ˜‹) and notice the changes in how your clothes fit, how you FEEL and how your strength or fitness increases. After all, when was the last time you let a number define how awesome you truly are? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸ™ŒπŸ» (Answer- never πŸ™‹πŸ½πŸ˜œ) @thebod_ it's a lifestyle, not a quick fix, but a total mind shift. Change your thinking, change your world. 🌸🌺

Ahhhh... slowing down πŸ’†πŸ½ after a hectic few months- scrap that, a hectic year, or 2 or 3? πŸ™‹πŸ½πŸ˜‚ we went away to the rainforest to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had no reception, no one else around, just the two of us to explore nature. πŸ™πŸΌπŸŒ» It was SO amazing to relax and unwind, for the first time in a long time we fell asleep without replying to emails beforehand or updating programs, or checking in on progress for projects- we just went to sleep without any technology. πŸ’†πŸ½ For most people this would be a given, a normal bedtime routine- however when you own your own businesses- it never stops. In our minds, if we reply to an email at night, the next day will mean we are already ahead because there will only be fresh emails- but as we find out, there is always something to do. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜© this year I have had the best run and not been sick, I have been far too busy to be sick, I have been racing around like a mad woman. Between the 4 kids, Nath's hip surgery, the gym and my business it was certainly the last thing I needed- but I always find that when you actually stop, it is when you fall ill. It's like your bodies way of saying it has had a taste of living life a little slower and that's how I want it to be for longer πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ I say this at least once a year, but my New Years resolution these last 3 years has to find a better work/home life balance- something I am truly striving for. I feel that whilst we are certainly 'doing' more family activities, we are still missing that 'down' time in the week too πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚ like everything, it's a learning curve- with only 2 more weeks of school, I cannot wait to spend more days at the beach, more time scootering and less time doing accounts and chasing debts πŸ˜©πŸ˜‚Summer break is almost upon us!!! (Stay tuned for 6 weeks time when my posts will read 'when is it school time, the kids are bored' πŸ™ˆπŸ˜‚) #summerbreak #schoolsout

I have just snapchatted all the vitamins I am using to fight off these bugs, but a quick debrief- zinc, beta a-c vitamin c powder, probiotics, colloidal silver, olive leaf extract and a special herbal mixture. What's your go to? Im hearing alot about oregano oil 🌻
