A few months ago I made my first ever digital illustration. Before that I had never drawn off of paper. To now be hired to illustrate for Fendi, Veuve Clicquot, Dior & Alexander McQueen has been a dream come true for me. When I went to FIT for fashion design, but really wanted to be an illustrator, the teachers told us not to bother. "Almost no one hires fashion illustrators anymore; this is a profession of the past". When I later met incredible illustrators who were making it, my heart sunk. I gave up on a dream because logical people told me it was impossible. I'm happy with the path I took in the end but humbled that I got to go back to illustration & also to learn a completely new medium in the process. At that time, maybe they were right, illustrators weren't in high demand, but we never know the future or what kind of space you can carve out for yourself with talent. ❤️ #liveyourdreams

When you finally take your makeup off after a long day.
When all else fails, just spray paint it. So often we find the perfect prop in the wrong color. Whether its gumballs, a frisbee or even flowers there's nothing a few coats of paint can't fix ❤️
