Double tap if you think I should move into this teepee and away from all my problems and just sleep forever
Secret Garden (feat. Merival) by Izzard, off the album A Trip To Soda Island
Last night Adam and I were talking about something and it was fun and all fine and dandy until, out of nowhere, it triggered a whole bunch of weird anxious thoughts that I was NOT expecting and I was like "oops now I'm panicking" and Adam was like "ugh as soon as we started talking about this I thought 'I don't want this to trigger a whole bunch of weird anxious thoughts' so she's like 'oops now I'm panicking'" so anyway here's an Adam appreciation post because I feel so known and understood and it's weird like I love you?!?! Cool stuff man.
I met a cat in a garden last night and it was as magical as it sounds.
Look at this angel. This angel has adorable eyes and cuddly puppy belly and teeth like A MILLION DAGGERS and I just finished healing from the cuts of our last interaction and I miss him.

Sometimes you just have to pretend that it's sweater weather, even if it's definitely not at all even a little bit.
"Lord, high and holy, meek and lowly, Thou hast brought me to the valley of vision, where I live in the depths but see thee in the heights; hemmed in by mountains of sin I behold thy glory."
The rain this week has been a frikkin' soul cleanse.
In the wise words of the philosopher Rihanna, I am "too lit to dim down a notch".
In Hebrews 9, Paul calls Jesus "High Priest of the good things to come". Other translations word it as "High Priest of the good things that have come". But really those two are one and the same. Because Jesus is outside of time, not working in conditionals or maybes, but in the sure, absolute confidence that can only belong to the sovereign being of the universe, to whom everything "was and is and is to come" simultaneously. And he is facilitator and coordinator and manager of every good thing that has ever happened (in history and in humanity and in you), and ever will happen (in history and in humanity and in you). It's already promised. Signed and sealed with nothing that can get in its way. This isn't a health and wealth, "if you believe in Jesus life will be perfect" sort of gospel. But you can bet your booty that it's a "God delights to give good gifts to His children" gospel (he's also already given us the Holy Spirit which is the best gift and sorta all you need but that's a whole different caption). Jesus is high priesting the crap outta your good gifts. You don't even have to worry about it. So that's cool.
