It’s always a special treat when we fly over Greenland on international flights on @united - I’d much rather weather through the freezing temperatures of Chicago than being down there! But it sure is pretty to look at. #unitedjourney #lookingout #premier1k #unitedairlines #frozen #greenland

This beautiful room called the Charter House inside the @salisburycathedral contains one of the most important document called Magna Carta in England. There are only for copies of this original document of the event occurred in 1215. (This would be our equivalent to the Declaration of Independence document except much older). For preserving purposes, photographs were not allowed of the old letter but the room itself deserves to be shared. This room is so ornately designed with stained glass windows and the columns show a great example of early English gothic style architecture. .

Although it’s not one of the biggest, Bath Abbey, which dates back as early as 7th century is an architectural wonder. The inside fan vault ceilings which are impressive and beautiful and I love the details of the outer facade. I could spend hours staring at the front. Love visiting Bath! .

This post is a tribute to a tragic earthquake that took place in Haiti 8 years ago. I was privileged to go visit this country 8 months after the disaster happened to document photos for Churches Helping Churches organization. It was a life changing trip and still have fond memories from that visit. I often think about and pray for those people I got to meet there. Haitians are strong and resilient. Rather than me going there to give and serve, I came back more encouraged and blessed by these people. I’m so thankful that I have a vocation that allows me the opportunity to give back what little gift I have. I can’t wait to go back there again in the future. Shout out to this amazing couple Lauren & Craig. I met Lauren several years ago while shooting a destination wedding in Rome, Italy. She was a bridesmaid in that wedding and she promised me that she would hire me when she got married. She followed up on that promise and I got to capture her unforgettable wedding to this great guy. Our relationship didn’t end there. They’ve since become my dear friends and also have referred me numerous weddings. I’ll be shooting another family member of theirs in NYC this year. So thankful for these kind of relationships. They now have a beautiful daughter together and can’t wait to visit them soon.

Also, if you’re going to @thesocietiesofphotographers SWPP conference in London this weekend, I’d love to meet you guys. I’m teaching two classes on Destination Weddings there and can’t wait to make some new friends out in the UK!
