A year ago, these shoes took me to physical therapy, 6 months post-surgery. Today, they took me to the weight room, where I added over 80 lbs to exercises that would have caused me pain before surgery. I never thought I'd be totally pain free, but here I am. I'm so proud of my body and I've learned that I can never take it for granted.
I buy flowers at the farmers market because they're the only thing that will last more than 24 hours in my house.

This is one of my favorite photos of my great grandma. She was 20 in this photo, and engaged to Walter, my great-grandpa. I'm so glad to be able to learn and celebrate her 103 years of vibrancy, kindness, and light for Jesus over these past few days.
It's done!! Huge thanks to @moira_mctaggert and @tattoocandy , I'm in love with how this turned out!

To me, this tattoo represents a closure of my time with chronic pain, physical therapy, doctors appointments, and surgeries. The journey was long, and difficult, but I've still been able to bloom where I'm planted. Thanks to everyone whose stuck with me. 💖💖💖

7 months ago, I was laying on my couch, and couldn't get up without help. I'd just had hip surgery, and I had no idea if it would solve the daily pain I'd been in for years.
Yesterday I went to the gym for the first time since surgery. I waited a while because I have a bad habit of pushing myself to the limits of injury. I worked hard, lost my breath, and sweat a LOT. Today I'm sore, but there's no lingering fears that I still have something wrong with my joints. That feeling is indescribable. I'm so struck by the significance of this confidence in my body and my ability to grow and get stronger. I'm so thankful for everyone who's stuck with me on this path. I'm so glad to be here, and I can only pray I never take my health for granted.
Y'all are probably sick of all these BuJo posts. I don't care. This future log is what makes me LOVE having grid lines in my moleskine! I really like having my whole year at a glance, but I wish I had a better way to list events indicated with a black circle. They're all out of order! But I still reference this collection all the time. #BuJo #billet journal #future log #planwithmechallenge #planwithme #planwithmejuly

I told myself that if I kept up with bullet journaling for 2 weeks, I'd buy myself a fresh moleskine to dedicate to the process. I'm in love.
No words for how much I love these two. 🐳🐳🐳
