Best mail day. Thank you @kid_eternity @aililabonte @henryyyyyyyyyyyyyyy @jimmysantolla @erikamitens . I am going to eat Adams Peanutbutter every day for the rest of my life. It's not sold out here and Dee said he would send me some but he sent me so much more. I asked Henry to keep me abreast of all his projects and I am so ecstatic to rip into that envelope later. Erika, Elise, and Jimmy are thoughtful and sweet pieces of my heart. Thank you @uspsofficial .

This city bends my neck. This city keeps my eyes below the horizon. After an illness, shuffling out, Atlas's leash and collar jangling before me, old canvas soft-rough on my fingers, I follow vines with my eyes up a wall and it's crooked green path straightens my spine. Was I ever this tall? Was I ever this brave? Brazen enough to point my eyes into the blue bed of the sun. Am I remembering how? Or am I simply between forgettings?

Y'all, this might be the best thing yet. The sauce is so weird and so good. I took the marinade and reduced it with a little flour and the deglazed pan juice I got with Chinese cooking wine. I then added a whole lemons worth of lemon juice go give it a little tartness and then I ran it through the food processor for a minute and it's so weird. Sweet and sour with a really light heat and that background bayleaf. Served on jasmine rice with charred Brussels sprouts that are almost raw so they have that radishy bite to them.

Two pork tenderloin, seared, sliced, and placed into a mixture of 3 peeled, puréed oranges, 3 bay leaves, 4oz homemade peppermint simple syrup, 6oz rice wine vinegar, four sprigs of thyme, a handful of black peppercorns, a quarter cup of salt, two cloves crushed garlic, crushed red pepper flakes, and maybe a half cup olive oil, and 3 tablespoons toasted cumin powder.
