After the first night on the road (sleeping in 95* heat with bats flying overhead) @cools_mcdougal is looking out at the landscape in front of him and questioning his decision to join me in this 3500+ mile journey across the American West.

Today I had the opportunity to visit Minidoka for the third time. This is where my grandmother, her family, and thousands of other Japanese Americans (US Citizens and Legal Aliens) were imprisoned during WWII.
