When I feel anxious, I bake. I find the repetitive hand movements soothing, the smells comforting, and there's usually a delicious reward at the end.
A savory galette made with caramelized onions, goat cheese, figs, bacon, and thyme.

Waiting on lunch and fantasizing about this cast iron pizza I made for dinner last Sunday. Bacon, collards, plenty of mozz, and some homemade preserved lemons and persian basil from the garden. Let me tell you, preserved lemons on pizza is a REVELATION.
