This is quite a different comparison photo. On the left was my 2nd check in (coached myself for a few weeks beforehand) with my coach @dylanbair_rd 9 weeks out from the Northcoast Championships. On the right was this morning 3 months post show and still working with my coach Dylan! Do you know which photo I like better? The one on the right! I never thought I'd like my offseason body over my body during prep but I feel I look good and strong (I wish you could see my quads more) in that photo. When I'm feeling down about myself I just look at old photos because they motivate me and show how much I've progressed through my fitness journey! Fitness is a lifestyle to me so just because my shows have come and gone doesn't mean the journey stops this is only the mere beginning!

Physique update: 11 weeks post show. Can't believe its been almost 3 months since my show! Weight is up about ๐Ÿ”Ÿ lbs. Strength is โฌ†๏ธ Energy is โฌ†๏ธ Hunger is โ†•๏ธ but it's usually โฌ†๏ธโฌ†๏ธ Feeling fluffy like ๐ŸฐMight do a mini cut here soon โœ‚๏ธ #staytuned

Today I shoulder pressed 35 lbs for 8 reps! Special thanks to @humble_iron_viking for spotting me and giving me the extra courage to try it. Feeling like a strong beef cake lately. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ’ช

I've been extremely critical of myself lately. Some days I feel like I'm on top of the world feeling like a strong machine and most days I feel like I'm failing my off-season. I have no reason to mentally beat myself up and pick my body a part addressing my "flaws." After looking at this transformation I'm stopping that negative mentality today. This is my journey and I've come so far that I should be proud of myself and learn to embrace the ups and downs. Don't focus so much on the destination that you forget to enjoy the ride along the way. #transformationtuesday

This is a little less than 4 weeks from the Northcoast Championship show I did at the end of May. I fell in love with the grind of prep and I appreciate these moments when I'm giving it all I got.

I had my first acai bowl the other day! I had coconut flakes, chia seeds, peanut butter, and cacao nibs added to my bowl and it was delicious! ๐Ÿ˜‹ I also had a shot of turmeric which actually wasn't that bad. Just down the hatch... I apologize for the dark studio pictures but this is a physique update. Today was leg day and it was the most weight I've ever lifted. Properly fueling my body has been giving me bounds of energy and strength in the gym. I'm so excited to see what I can accomplish this offseason! Still battling with the weight gain and body image post show but this week I've been feeling slightly better about my new found strong body with some curves ๐Ÿ’ช

Reached out to @newpop and told them how much I love their popcorn and how it saved my butt during prep! I told them I haven't been able to find their hot & sweet flavor so they sent me a box of their small bags! How nice of them! The macros for this popcorn are insane and I still eat it every day even not being on prep anymore. If you haven't tried it you must! The only place I've been able to find it is Giant Eagle stores. Has anyone found it anywhere else?

I missed #throwbackthursday so #flashbackfriday it is! Did you know before I started weightlifting I was a runner? ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ At one point I was running a race every weekend anywhere between a 5k to a half marathon. I kind of miss those days and have been thinking about signing up for a race just on the whim for fun. To this day I still have the goal of running a full marathon but for now my focus is on picking up all the weight in the gym. ๐Ÿ’ช Where are my quads though in this picture? ๐Ÿค” #runnerturnedbodybuilder

Its been almost a week since I've posted! I'm still here just pulled away from social media. a bit. Been getting more comfortable with the weight gain post show. My strength (and so is the booty ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘) is finally coming back so my lifts have been going really well! I've also been kind of loosely tracking my macros. I'm the kind of person that will hit my numbers right on the dot every day. It's like playing Tetris in MyFitnessPal lol and I just don't need to do that during offseason. Anyway that's just a little update if anyone cares ๐Ÿ™ƒ

โœ… this morning! This is 5 weeks post show. This week I struggled the most with body image. I could physically see I've gained fat and it bothered me and normally stuff like that doesn't. However looking at this picture I took this morning in happy with the way I look in it. I haven't fallen off track. I've stuck to the plan for the most part (no one is 100% perfect.) To help with finding more balance and help my body image issues I choose to step away from the scale and only weigh myself twice this week so I wouldn't obsess over a number. I also didn't track my food for two days this week when I normally don't track for one day a week but since it was the holiday I wasn't going to worry about hitting my macro numbers. I'm thinking about switching over to intuitively eating here soon so if anyone has any advice on that I'd greatly appreciate it! ๐Ÿ˜Š
