/FITNESS ESSENTIALS•/ Each Month I’m going to hit you with my TOP FITNESS ESSENTIALS! Basically; the items I always have on me for a successful day at work| #FandH // I know you have asked so... here we go!

1️⃣ My @vooray Bag! Yes; these are all the JAM right now! Mine is the #marble {gifted by my girl @brrrittscott } This Bag makes all of my fitness gear easy to carry & I feel super fly wearing it on my shoulder!
2️⃣ My @adidas #nmdr1 s! I LOVE these Olive colored sneaks for cross training! I actually have TWO pair! Easy to slip on and great traction for planks etc.... NO BUENO for SPIN!! 3️⃣ My FITNESS TRACKER!! AN ABSOLUTE MUST!!!! Right now I’m on that @apple #iwatchseries3 game! But I also love my #Blaze! Why?! I can tracks the workouts I do; calories burned; hours slept; and more!! So awesome to make sure I’m consuming enough food for the amount of working out|training I do!
4️⃣ My FITNESS PLANNER!! Yes. This is my JAM from @popflex_active !! I am writing down ALL of my goals; to-do; marketing/PR lists in here!! One. Stop. Shop! I can write down my workouts; my sleep; my EVERYTHING! Literal best planner I’ve seen on the market!! So; I NEVER leave the house without these four items & with them; I can conquer my day & S L A Y✨

/STRENGTH TRAINING•/ As a #NASM Certified CPT you will often hear us talk about Hypertrophy; and you may think “What is that?!” Simply put it is the strength phase in training in which you are building your Lean Body Mass(Muscle). Building muscle is so important to your health|fitness goals!

When I moved to Alaska 14 years ago; I didn’t know what it was that spoke to my soul so much.
But in moments like this morning; in watching the sun rise (for only a few hours), I am reminded of how THANKFUL I am that I came here. I am reminded that God has a plan for me & he’s never let me down yet.
So today; I TRUST in that plan & continue on the grind|hustle of making it happen🙏🏼 He knew my PURPOSE; even before I did.

/SELF LOVE IS BAE•/ So; a couple of weeks ago I received a pretty nasty comment|message on Social Media from an obviously fake made account. It said some body shaming things to me but the stand out was; “You’re not even fit... your just skinny....” blah blah blah.
Number 1; body shaming is NOT OKAY. Under any circumstances. And no matter your size, weight, BF%, don’t ever let anyone shame you into thinking you are not perfectly made & an amazing work in progress.
Number 2; I am so proud of my body and where I’ve come. I AM fit. I AM strong. And I CAN teach a DOPE ASS spin class; whoop some ass in a weight lifting class; KILL a STEP class; DESIGN A BOMB & EFFECTIVE PERSONAL TRAINING PROGRAM; and crush a core class! I AM proud.
Number 3; I decided to use this as a positive. Listen up. ALL OF YOU. YOU ARE BEAUTIFULLY MADE. No matter what ANYONE SAYS. No matter what any hater is going to ever spew. Rise above it. I believe in SELF LOVE!! I LOVE MY BODY. I TAKE CARE OF IT & it is my temple. When I look in the mirror; I finally see someone I love. And NO ONE can take that from me. That’s why I do what I do right now. TO INSPIRE YOU ALL to feel the same.
So; go ahead & take a look at yourself in the mirror today & embrace every curve, every goddamn bump, & LOVE IT. Because YOU ARE WORTH IT ALL!! {Spreading that 💡}
