Last weekend was our last camp trip of the year. As fall is just starting to set in I'm almost starting to look forward to it.
The more I get up early to catch sunrise the more I like it. Don't get me wrong I'd take sleeping in over getting up early most days, I guess it's just becoming a little less painful.
Hammocks are basically the best invention ever. End of story.
I'm still holding out for a few more summer evenings like this one.
Spent the last two days exploring the narrow and oh so charming streets of San Miguel de Allende. Viva Mexico 🇲🇽
Oh my gosh, I can't believe that a year ago I was backpacking through this unbelievable landscape. Couldn't really ask for a better setting for my first backpacking adventure.

When we got a drone the last thing that I expected to do with it was take food photos.
This is the moment we had been waiting for. The sun peeked over the mountain tops and spilled its warm light down into the valley.
Sunset paddles are the best kind of paddles.
When we started planning our Iceland trip stopping to see the drinking dinosaur was at the top of my list. While we didn't actually get to see him drinking he was still just as lovely to look at!

Every summer @othellonine and I take 4 days off to kayak up the Sechelt Inlet. It's the most relaxing 4 days of the year. No phones, no internet, no running water... just the sun, the wind and the ocean. The links in my bio.
This summer has just been too good to be true!
Quiet time is so important to me. Nothing clears my mind and creates space in my brain for me to be creative, like time spent enjoying the stillness of nature.
I spent most of the last 5 days honing my relaxation skills. I could really get used to this!!!
Packing up the canoe and heading out for a long weekend of camping by the ocean. See you all next week!
