@jamesldub Is this really the last place on the Internet I can bother you on? Anyway, I'm glad I ran into you! Too bad we couldn't catch up, I was on a fruitless errand to glimpse Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Caught the last show of @nownowband’s tour at @mercylounge last night. Their new record’s gonna be great.
From last night's Drink & Click, an event that I have deeply mixed feelings about.
Posted photos from @teamdaikaiju at @themouthhole on my website. Hit the link in my bio for more.
I won't lie, I was a little concerned that @teamdaikaiju was going to burn @themouthhole to the ground last night. More photos soon! (Also in my Insta story right now.)
Seeing Tuareg guitarist Mdou Moctar last night at @fondobject was amazing.
Happy birthday to A+ dude and my one-time Fundamentals of Cinema classmate @totalbender! From the other night at @theeastroom.
If you're going to """Safari Boys""" tonight at @theeastroom, get there at 8pm to see @realitysomething. Here they are, playing a weird show at a poolside rooftop bar at SXSW this year.
If you’re gonna go downtown, skip the countrified Red Hot Chili Peppers covers at Tootsies and catch @hillbillycasino at @laylasnashville instead.
I’m still sad about Jessi. Photo from a 2011 @thosedarlins show at @thebasementnash.
Braved the downpour last night to shoot @agiantdog at @fondobject4thave for @NashvilleScene. If you haven't already seen it, read my story about how much they rule in this week's paper.
Paid my respects to El Jefe last night. It was good to see so many friends, including the undead specter of Boo Dudes.
Ten years ago today, I brought a camera to a concert for the first time in my life. I fumbled through shooting Be Your Own Pet at The End. I did so many things totally wrong, but I loved it so much. And I haven't stopped since.

By my count, I've shot 604 bands since then. I feel so fortunate, so lucky, to say that I've been able to call this my profession for a decade. I wrote about that feeling on my website, which is linked in my bio.

See you out there. 📸
I almost had more fun watching people watch the eclipse than watching the eclipse itself.
