What are we feeding ourselves with? What are our choices of entertainment (music, TV, online shows/movies/video, books, etc.) feeding us with? What are our conversations with friends feeding us with?

If we are not feeding ourselves with healthy things then we need to consider switching our diet to things that will help our minds and hearts to grow closer the the one who made us and knows us better than we know ourselves: God.

Just with ANY other diet that cuts the junk out, it won't be easy and the junk food will call out to our attention, but it's a diet worth following because it will help our spirit to grow and flourish.

Let's be more mindful and ask God if our words tend to come out harsh. Sometimes we think they are not, but to someone else's ear it may be harsh.

We might think, "well I didn't mean it that way, so as long as that was not MY intention it's the other person's problem." But, do you see the problem there? It's in the "I" and the "MY". We need to remember that as Christians we need to put "ME" 2nd to what God would have us do: serve.
-Patient: able to remain calm and not become annoyed when waiting for a long time or when dealing with problems or difficult people

Sometimes we ask God for patience but what we actually mean is that we want God to remove what is trying our patience. When we ask for our patience to grow it will be tried so we can learn to grow and endure.

Let's not give up having patience with others because Christ is ever-patient with us and He is our example of the character God wants us to have as Christians.

Less talk more doing... 😊
Let's not just be hearers of God's Word but DOers.

Belittle- to think of others as little or unimportant.

This reminds me of what Paul told the Philippians: "Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves.”
‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3‬ ‭NLT‬‬ In the world we live in, we are taught that to treat others as equals is to show them love, but God's Word teaches us different. Jesus didn't treat us as equals; He treated us as something precious. He humbled Himself for our sake by dying on the cross for us.

Does our every-day attitude of how we interact with others (poor, rich, or in between) reflect this?
What's a schemer? Someone who makes secret or under-handed plans.

Let us learn to allow God to grow our patience through trials and be people who don't scheme (even if we think we're doing it for the right reasons)

I am not a believer of karma. I am believe that if God says "don't do it" it's to help us avoid the problems that come with those choices.

Prayer: that God might grant me discernment to weed out the foolishness in myself....
Not an easy one to accept at times but wisdom none the less
Because... we could all use some wisdom (me 1st)
The force is strong with this one 😁
