Don’t remember exactly what I did in this lift. Added some shoulder work and a lot of sets of these exercises. Mostly excited about the fact that there was no pain in my hips doing those deads. #party

•Trying to be better about filming my workouts especially while recovering so I figured why not share them? Leg day doesn’t have to always be 2+ hours with a dozen different exercises - sometimes the best workouts come from pairing the right exercises together to leave your quads burning which is what happened today.•

•Romanian deadlift 5 x 8-10
Single Leg Ham Curl 5 x 10(each side) •
•Heels Elevated Goblet Squats 6 x 10-12

•3 Way Lunge(Reverse/Curtsey/Lateral) 3 x 5(each way) •
•Leg Extensions 3 x 10H/15L + 1 Dropset
Narrow squats on a slant box because why not? A few months ago I couldn’t even put a bar on my back without major discomfort. Still not 100% but my goal moving forward from this is to get out of my comfort zone without creating further injury. Also what up calves? #smallestintheroom

Taking the year off was the best decision I ever made. Needed time to just train for myself not for anything in particular. Eat intuitively and not obsess over weighing, measuring, and tracking every single thing I put into my mouth. Switched the way I was eating at the beginning of the year to a mostly plant based diet. I’m 135lbs, I’m fluffy, I’m stronger, but most importantly I’m the happiest I’ve ever been about my body. Again, abs don’t mean shit if you’re shitty. 🙃

Anxiety & depression are a funny thing. I suffered through it silently growing up. I was always a little different from everyone else and I just kinda chalked it up to that. Never really wanted to acknowledged it was an issue until I hit my 20s. •

That's where working out came in. I found my confidence in the gym. Something to call my own. Even with fitness as an outlet I still struggle but I'm a lot better than I used to be and I'll take it. Transformations worth talking about don't have to just be physical. #mentaltransformation
