Our third-born turned 4 this week! Isaiah Jonathan is a thrill-seeker, risk-taker, train enthusiast, rock solid bulldozer, master snuggler + kisser. We love watching our boy continue to grow into the person God has created him to be. ❤️

For those that saw me share on the @twistshakebaby cup last week, I wanted to post the code here for you to get 20%off your own: moriahsunde20
We've been using this thing nonstop for the past week, and we're big fans. Easy to clean, minimal pieces to put together, and no spills or intentional leaks (which is normally Elijah's fav activity at night in his crib). We'll be tossing out the other sippy cups asap.

"Let your roots grow down deeply in Him, and let Him build you up on a firm foundation. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always spill over with thankfulness." Col 2:7
Best mail day ever. 🙌🏻
@dancestandrun is an invitation for God's daughters to step into the movements of abundant life: dancing in grace, standing firm in holiness, and running on mission. My fav quote from the book:
"Prayer shifts us, reminds us of who we are and who He is. Prayer guides us to truth, giving us eyes to see where we live and why we're here. But when we look at the Word of God, we can absolutely stand firm on the truth that prayer often changes the outcome of what happens in our world. So let's be holy women of God who dance in the grace and mystery of a kingdom we can't quite grasp, and take our place as we talk to our Father."
Friends, head to the @dancestandrun site and download Chapter 1 for FREE! Then, preorder 2+ books before 10/24 and get a ton of goodies! 🙌🏻
@jessaconnolly: THANK YOU for this book and for inviting our sisters to walk in the identity He's always had for them. #dancestandrun

Snuck away for a few days to the North Shore with the big kids. Waterfalls, lighthouses, old trains, and the freedom to run -- this is their kind of vacation.

I serve a God who showed His kids what it looks like to be a King in His Kingdom: by going low and serving others. Through His son, Jesus, He got down on His knees and washed the feet of His disciples in a room of people who saw this act of servanthood to be the lowest of the low.
God got on His knees and washed His sons’ feet.
How can we align our hearts with Christ and be radical servants of Love in our everyday? Can we help each other to not get caught up in the busy and forget to go low in our communities, relationships, and work places? Because of Who we have living inside of us, we GET to take care of others, serve them, and love them unconditionally.
My prayer for myself, my family, and my crew of friends is that God would continue to remind us of His heart in all situations. I want to find myself more humble, less comfortable, and open to reaching out more often than not. By doing so, my reward is getting to walk in the identity of Jesus.

A much slower week for us as we sleep off sickness and new teeth. Just busted out the 3T jammies for my 17 month old, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. 😭 Luckily, he still acts like a baby, even if he might not look like one anymore.

I was Your enemy, still You brought me closer
I was Your enemy, but You gave me Your name
I was an enemy, still You brought me closer
I was an enemy, but still You changed my name
Brought me into Your family
Oh, to realize, before You were Creator, You were a Father
Oh, to realize, that You've always wanted a family
Oh, to realize, by the blood of Christ You brought me in
Oh, to realize that I'm no more an orphan
You brought me in and You changed my name
Now I'm Your daughter

@rachkincaid told me I need to post this pic somewhere permanently instead of Insta Stories. It's a good reminder to me that, although I wear yoga pants, a greasy top knot, snot stained t-shirts, and have the aroma of a poopy diaper 7/7 days a week, I'm still quite capable of pulling myself together every once in a while.
Grateful for evenings with my lady friends where I can refresh, recharge, have real adult conversations (and some really immature ones, too), then head back home in my minivan to love on my wild, crazy, messy, awesome family God gave me.
Also. I sent this pic to my mom, because I realized I am looking more and more like the 90s version of her. 👍🏻

Grateful for slow days that allow space for reflection, cleaning the kitchen in silence, wagon races around the block, and dance parties in our pajamas. What are you grateful for today? #getaftergrateful

This summer has been a season of cutting out noise, staying close to my tribe, soaking up and digesting online sermons, listening closely to the Holy Spirit, not voicing my opinion as much, and asking Him to show me Kingdom Truth to replace my fleshly thoughts. I haven't put my hands to much, other than making sure my children survive. There hasn't been much creation, or even much dreaming, just coasting along through these slow days, holding lots of little hands, wiping off lots of scuffed-up knees, filling up lots of bellies, pushing through tantrums and refereeing sibling fights, learning how to stay calm in the moment, and practicing how to only let that Kingdom Truth leave my mouth (easier said than done, but it's always the goal!).
My soul may be exhausted, but as I remind myself that I GET to identify with my spirit, and how God sees me, the weight of this summer feels so much lighter. I GET to see things the way He sees them, react the way He reacts, and even love the way He loves. When I take the focus off of my tired soul, and choose to live a life that isn't affected by the earthly duties of a stay-at-home mama, but is actually affected by the relationship I have with my Father, my perspective on this season has the ability to produce fruit that I will get to carry with me into eternity. 🍉🍎🍓🍏🍍🍓🍊🍋🍌
