This lady decided to go and get pregnant again, so I’ve been missing her while she’s been sick for weeks. Today, we finally got our monthly date! 🙌🏻

Great news: @josephsunde started a new job where he gets to work from home full time! Not greatest news: His first week on the job has been during the kids’ winter break. 😜 Super grateful for friends who took a couple kids off our hands today. I’m finally getting to chill and have a real taste of what our new normal will be like. It’s going to be good! 🙌🏻

Another year of forgoing the #goals list and just keeping it simple in 2018: spend more time in the secret place with Him.
.
For me, it’s worked well, only because He’s made it clear to me in this season of my life that I’ll only bear fruit from working towards better habits, better health, healthier relationships, and a healthier home unless I make Him the priority in my everyday. Growth can only happen when I’m already living from ABUNDANCE. When my focus stays on Him and His heart, I won’t need to sweat as much when working towards those goals — I’ll simply get to watch them start falling into place as my mind continues to be renewed and my spirit continues to match up with His. If I’m aware of how much He loves me, I’ll be able to love myself, my husband, my kids, and others almost as much as He does. Here’s to more of Him in #2018!

Whatever the 4 yr old likes, says, or does, his mini-me does the same. Sometimes it’s cute, and sometimes you can’t help but feel sorry for the boy whose Island of Sodor keeps being destroyed by Babyzilla.
.
On a different note, I just remembered I have a discount code for Elijah’s fav @twistshakebaby cups! Load up for the new year on the pastel and neon colors that are on sale with this code while supplies last (+ free shipping on orders over $25): moriahsunde20

Our family spent the week leading up to Christmas taking turns having the stomach flu. Imagine the amount of vomit — sorry, don’t. 🙈 Anyway, a new week with healthy kiddos during winter break is still exhausting, but much less stinky and messy. For those of you who have families of more than four kids, I really don’t know how you do it. 😂 GOODBYE 2017! 👋🏼

Our third-born turned 4 this week! Isaiah Jonathan is a thrill-seeker, risk-taker, train enthusiast, rock solid bulldozer, master snuggler + kisser. We love watching our boy continue to grow into the person God has created him to be. ❤️

For those that saw me share on the @twistshakebaby cup last week, I wanted to post the code here for you to get 20%off your own: moriahsunde20
.
We've been using this thing nonstop for the past week, and we're big fans. Easy to clean, minimal pieces to put together, and no spills or intentional leaks (which is normally Elijah's fav activity at night in his crib). We'll be tossing out the other sippy cups asap.

"Let your roots grow down deeply in Him, and let Him build you up on a firm foundation. Be strong in the faith, just as you were taught, and always spill over with thankfulness." Col 2:7
Best mail day ever. 🙌🏻

@dancestandrun is an invitation for God's daughters to step into the movements of abundant life: dancing in grace, standing firm in holiness, and running on mission. My fav quote from the book:
.
"Prayer shifts us, reminds us of who we are and who He is. Prayer guides us to truth, giving us eyes to see where we live and why we're here. But when we look at the Word of God, we can absolutely stand firm on the truth that prayer often changes the outcome of what happens in our world. So let's be holy women of God who dance in the grace and mystery of a kingdom we can't quite grasp, and take our place as we talk to our Father."
.
Friends, head to the @dancestandrun site and download Chapter 1 for FREE! Then, preorder 2+ books before 10/24 and get a ton of goodies! 🙌🏻
.
@jessaconnolly: THANK YOU for this book and for inviting our sisters to walk in the identity He's always had for them. #dancestandrun

Snuck away for a few days to the North Shore with the big kids. Waterfalls, lighthouses, old trains, and the freedom to run -- this is their kind of vacation.

I serve a God who showed His kids what it looks like to be a King in His Kingdom: by going low and serving others. Through His son, Jesus, He got down on His knees and washed the feet of His disciples in a room of people who saw this act of servanthood to be the lowest of the low.
.
God got on His knees and washed His sons’ feet.
.
How can we align our hearts with Christ and be radical servants of Love in our everyday? Can we help each other to not get caught up in the busy and forget to go low in our communities, relationships, and work places? Because of Who we have living inside of us, we GET to take care of others, serve them, and love them unconditionally.
.
My prayer for myself, my family, and my crew of friends is that God would continue to remind us of His heart in all situations. I want to find myself more humble, less comfortable, and open to reaching out more often than not. By doing so, my reward is getting to walk in the identity of Jesus.

A much slower week for us as we sleep off sickness and new teeth. Just busted out the 3T jammies for my 17 month old, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. 😭 Luckily, he still acts like a baby, even if he might not look like one anymore.

I was Your enemy, still You brought me closer
I was Your enemy, but You gave me Your name
I was an enemy, still You brought me closer
I was an enemy, but still You changed my name
Brought me into Your family
.
Oh, to realize, before You were Creator, You were a Father
Oh, to realize, that You've always wanted a family
Oh, to realize, by the blood of Christ You brought me in
Oh, to realize that I'm no more an orphan
.
You brought me in and You changed my name
Now I'm Your daughter

@rachkincaid told me I need to post this pic somewhere permanently instead of Insta Stories. It's a good reminder to me that, although I wear yoga pants, a greasy top knot, snot stained t-shirts, and have the aroma of a poopy diaper 7/7 days a week, I'm still quite capable of pulling myself together every once in a while.
.
Grateful for evenings with my lady friends where I can refresh, recharge, have real adult conversations (and some really immature ones, too), then head back home in my minivan to love on my wild, crazy, messy, awesome family God gave me.
.
Also. I sent this pic to my mom, because I realized I am looking more and more like the 90s version of her. 👍🏻

Grateful for slow days that allow space for reflection, cleaning the kitchen in silence, wagon races around the block, and dance parties in our pajamas. What are you grateful for today? #getaftergrateful

I am seated with Him in heavenly places. All things are under my feet. I have direct access to the throne of grace.
