On the way to Zagreb, we passed an area where there are arrays of fruit shops. I know that this area is located in the same region as Italy but I just realized that just like Capri, there are many citruses in this area. Capri is famous for its lemons, this particular region is abundant with oranges, grapefruits and lemons (some tangerines too). The locals sell fresh fruits, juices, marmalades, brandy (similar to limoncello) and arancini (candied orange peels). If you don't like citruses, they also have cherries and their derivatives (cherry brandy - "must-buy souvenir from Croatia" and jams), and figs (fresh and dried). In every shops, they will offer you some samples and it's OK if you ended up not buying anything. In between the fruit shops, there are some honey shops too. They have wide varieties of honeys - I love the acacia and linden honey.
Up up and away - there, last pictures from Dubrovnik. Next feeds will be from Zagreb.
