Woo hoo! Just received my Bristol Bay drift gillnet permit in the mail, I am now one of 1400 active permit holders in the world that can harvest Alaskas wild Bristol Bay sockeye salmon. Thanks for the video @bristolbaysockeyesalmon , they made a sweet little video of what we do for a couple months every summer. #initforlife

It's never good feeling when you wiggle your middle finger and watch a tendon move in and out of your arm πŸ€”... turns out accidentally punching through a window is not a smooth move. Back to recovery mode... #fuck #tisafleshwound #procouchsurfer

Sad, sad days. We love you Megan and Ben, and we'll all see you on the other side Megan. Life is temporary, but humans with a truly genuine spirit like yours live on forever. Lots and lots of love to you both ❀️
A big puppy (*and by that I mean a monster grey wolf ) and some bear tracks. @brendon_grace @devin_grace
Yeah riding a big wave puts you really close to the basic human instinctual side of yourself, and the spiritual side of life as well; but to be honest sharing and recollecting those experiences with your friends (in my opinion) is as good or better than all that mumbo jumbo. I'm looking forward to many more good times sitting in any channel with the boys after a good day of getting scared strait. πŸ‘» Cheers @bradleynorris @tylerlarronde @franciscoporcella ... also thanks for the pic and driving the boat pops! || @buellsurf @cova @proliteint @futuresfins @barkboards #teamblackbird #parkinglotstorytime
"Run to the hills, run for your lives!!" For some reason waves like this always make me think of that line from that Iron Maiden song. I ran, made it around the first section, where the second section was waiting to kick the πŸ’© out of me. #goodtimes

I see my future, and it wears croakies and drives a Nissan Altima 🀘
After 6 weeks of living on a 32' boat with three other guys in Alaska, and at one point spending 21 consecutive days at sea fishing, I am really looking forward to sitting down over a meal in real chairs with this lovely lady 😘. Thanks for the pic @casscleave

After six 12 hour days of boat work, fishing vessel Pickin 'n' Grinnin just needs a little more work on the refrigeration system and she'll be ready to fish. The fleet is getting antsy waiting for the elusive Sockeye salmon to begin making its yearly migration up the Naknek River, and then the derby fishing season will begin. #prayforfish πŸ™

Push starting beat up trucks and hearing big marine diesel engines throttle up all day long makes me happy 😊 #ilovealaska
Your standard Bristol Bay alarm clock lol. These helmalerts are basically a car alarm that's about 5 feet from your head. After a couple hours of sleep its a wild feeling getting blasted out of your bunk by one at 2 in the morning Haha

62 years old, two fake hips, a permanently torn bicep, the guy can hold a four and a half minute plank, and I still can't keep up. Thank you for giving me the best job in the world, let's go fishing 🎣
My pre-salmon season ritual. A beer for our pup Maisy my parents had to put down a few weeks ago, and a whiskey for my brother Patrick. Cheers to calm seas, good fishing, and to those loved and lost ❀️
