I do not recommend driving through storms. That bright sky was deceiving. We drove right into a hail storm. I need sunshine and warmth. As beautiful as this is, I need a beach day. 😏

Of all the places I travel to and of all the people I meet; home is my favorite and my family being together is the best. ❤️ #motherhood #wildandfreemama #whatmattersmost
Don’t waste your time on the obvious things. Write about what disturbs you, particularly if it bothers no one else. —The Help

I need to remember this ⬆️ for sure with my writing and in regards to many things in life! Even if it isn’t popular; if it drives you, fuels your passion deep within and is important to you...someone, somewhere might need to hear it. And in the process, doing what matters to you will always grow and change you. ❤️
“My Dad says that being a Londoner has nothing to do with where you're born. He says that there are people who get off a jumbo jet at Heathrow, go through immigration waving any kind of passport, hop on the tube and by the time the train's pulled into Piccadilly Circus they've become a Londoner.” .

— What a true quote! London pulls you in and makes you feel like a Londoner after a short time of being there. You jump right into the hustle and bustle, the food and the culture, the scenes and the experience and you simply grasp that there’s just something in the air. Around every corner is something new. It’s understandable how so many people we met that now live in London didn’t grow up there, but fell in love with London after visiting and decided to make London their home. ❤️ #LoveLondonWeekend
Love all these colors changing! Autumn is in full swing! 🍂🍃🍁

It’s an amazing thing to be able to watch the sunset with someone you love. This couple was so sweet sitting there on the bench together...laughing and having a good old time. It’s the little things in life that mean the most. ✨

Fall is in full swing here in London. Love the pop of color as the leaves are changing for the season! We’ve had surprisingly beautiful weather these past few days. Not too warm, not too cold. Just right. 🌿🍁🍃🍂

The Pop Brixton! What an amazing space, concept and purpose! We were able to hear about what Pop Brixton is and try some of the amazing food! It’s a community project that has transformed an unused car park into a vibrant village, that is home to some of London’s most exciting restaurants, street food traders and independent retailers. We got a quick tour around the space and after dinner, we walked around on our own and grabbed a delicious dessert! Tim and I LOVE local food, local businesses and thriving, creative ideas...so this place was incredibly inspiring! We also love being able to see the lesser known places in big cities that tourists don’t always know about! Loved the vibe and can I say it again...the food from the various vendors/restaurants we tried was 😱! Check out my story if you want to see some more about this space and other great London sights! 😉 #LoveLondonWeekend #LondonIsOpen
So excited to be heading back to London with Tim for #LoveLondonWeekend! We were in London for the first time last fall for a work project and are excited to be invited back for #AutumnSeason! A little getaway is much welcomed and appreciated for this old married couple. 😉👫 Be sure to watch our IG stories this weekend! Maybe we’ll bring some humor to your days. 😬 Or give you some fun ideas for your next getaway. ✈️
I hope people know and understand one thing about me...when I lament, complain or share what frustrates me; I say none of it from a heart of perfection. I’m broken, flawed and need to continually look up for guidance and peace. Yet, it doesn’t change what I perceive, my preferences or my feelings about the world. I just want you to know, I know I’m not perfect and do not say what I do as if I think I am. In the past, I’ve been made to feel “wrong” or “bad” for having strong opinions or sharing them at times. Yet, it’s the personality I have that I’ve been created with that has allowed me to stand up for others and has allowed me to stand up for myself. It’s allowed me to be strong in many difficult circumstances and it’s helped me navigate through difficult relationships in a way that has allowed me to choose what is best. Even if it was really hard. 🙏🏻

I hope these sweet girls will always look up in life as well. I never want them to be someone they aren’t or think they should be or have something because someone else is a certain way or has something they think they should have. I hope they always put their faith, hope and trust in the one who made them in the first place and know he made them just the way they are for a purpose and for a reason. They are right where they are supposed to be. ❤️
Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t think social media is for everyone. Some people shouldn’t be allowed to use it or be on it. I know that’s none of my never mind, but for real...🤷🏽‍♀️. You can find me here ⬆️ for a bit because, well...🤷🏽‍♀️. Yes, it takes all kinds, but I’m still holding onto my above thoughts/observations. 🤣 #thatsmystoryandimstickingtoit
It’s the seemingly simple things in life that often leave me in great awe. Maybe because they seem simple, yet they are incredibly complex and absolutely brilliant. There isn’t a filter that can make this beautiful earth look this way from scratch. Only the ultimate creator can do that. Yes, the kind of creator that is not only simple and complex, but beautifully perfect in all ways. #wordsfrommyjournal
One of our favorite beaches in Ocean City. Away from the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk. More space to run around & explore. And being able to be on the beach to swim & not freeze close to the middle of October in New Jersey is pretty awesome. .

We love spontaneous adventures because we live a life that requires us to be somewhat open & flexible for Tim’s work. We can’t plan or schedule a whole lot too far in advance so these kinds of days when we see good weather and can swing a quick trip away...it makes it all the more fun and yes, sometimes crazy! I’ve learned to keep easy snacks in the house to pack a quick bag for a random day trip if we get the chance. Fortunately, we are less than two hours from the shore & our family absolutely loves the water so we didn’t have to “convince” anyone that they would love it & have fun. Ahem, a certain teenager. 🤣💁🏽 Parenting older kids is no joke sometimes, but days like these make it all worth it! #explorewhereyouare #landisfamilyadventures #landislife
While I couldn’t do anything about the symmetry from this angle and sure I could have had her stand elsewhere...we were competing with a setting sun and little kids running all around us. 😬 None of that matters much to me because she’s a beauty and the light was 👌🏻. ✨
There’s just something about the ocean...
“We awaken by asking the right questions. We awaken when we see knowledge being spread that goes against our own personal experiences. We awaken when we see popular opinion being wrong but accepted as being right, and what is right being pushed as being wrong. We awaken by seeking answers in corners that are not popular. And we awaken by turning on the light inside when everything outside feels dark.” -S.K.
We like to sneak away for coffee, walks & photo taking every once in a while. Golden hour is always a bonus, too. ✨
Golden hour bike rides with this girl. We’ve been enjoying our Wednesday evenings with her while her big bro & sis are at church. I think she likes it, too. 😉
These two are 15 months apart and the best of friends. And P.S...I only asked them to go stand in front of this barn. The rest was all them. ❤️
