Le Sarrasin is drinking incredibly well. An intriguing buckwheat saison that's aged gracefully, subtle and complex.
Uni and quail egg at the best new spot in Portland.
2017 Michter's 10 Year Old Rye found in the wilds of Massachusetts for under $150. Excited to try this whiskey that possesses a phenomenal pedigree, blended by Kentuckys first female master distiller.
At an inconspicuous pizza shop on the outskirts of Portsmouth consuming pork liver pate, steamed pork roll and head cheese in the best banh mi I've ever had.
Phenomenal sashimi to start a memorable meal with great company. Diver scallops, albacore, yellowtail, red snapper and uni. Some of my favorite things on one plate.
Fry bread, pickled chili and preserved lemon served with uni butter. Paired with Oxbow/Del Ducato Oud Brunello, a sour brown ale that's spent its life fermenting gracefully in barrels that once held Brunello.
Shoyu ramen and Deciduous Lambent, a tart wheat beer brewed with passion fruit and raspberries.

Some of the most phenomenal meads I've had the pleasure of imbibing. Big thanks to @pizzarrhea for opening the Berry White set from @superstitionmeadery recently
Lamb chops, lemon confit, pistachio and mint. Paired with a 2009 Montenidoli Blanco, a blend of Trebiabbo, Vernacccia and Malvasia fermented in old barriques for over a year. A mind blowing pairing.
Mozzarella en Carrozza, a fried cheese sandwich with origins in Southern Italy. One of life's simplest pleasures and executed perfectly at @babboboston
God damn I love De Cam, and proper glassware from @lanr_beer
This was good. Incredibly dry and bursting with flavors of fresh berries and damp hay all balanced by a subtle, lingering tartness.

Two weeks and $300 later, 18 bottles of the most remarkable liquid being produced was waiting for me on the porch. Straight from Belgium to my face, and the cellar.

Smooth Ambler Old Scout Single Barrel possesses deep and refined notes of maple, butterscotch and jaggery. A full bodied, hefty whiskey that is a welcome addition to January drinking.

Trillium Barrel Aged Outside the Lines, a dense Imperial Stout aged in Bourbon barrels with coffee, vanilla beans and cardamom. An absolutely beautiful and complex beer that utilizes one of the worlds most intriguing spices.
Spaghetti, Uni butter, lobster and even more Osetra caviar.
This is good. Potato Latkes, pastrami cured salmon, crème fraîche and Israeli Osetra caviar.
