Some sketchy lion fun.
Happy birthday to my brother, my tag team partner. Didn't get to finish this tattoo yesterday, but it's on my brother and for my dad and my most important tattoo. I know this birthday might be hard, but take comfort in this: your big brother admires, loves, respects, and looks up to his little brother. You're one hell of a man and an even better brother. You're ability to stand tall when most would not is inspiring. I love you and so proud to call you my brother. Uhh!!

Amanda snapped this candid pic of me the other day while sitting on my dads truck, a truck he and my mom now have given to me and my brother. And despite me being the emotional wreck as of late this picture really helps me see my thoughts of trying to move forward and understand and rejoice knowing I'm like my old man.
Get ready to see old me coming through with a new perspective.

When I was a child I remember laying my head on my dads chest, and I would try to sync my breath with his. My tiny lungs trying to fill with air and match with the long inhales he would take... Here I am now, as a man, knowing very well my feet could never fill his shoes. For a while there during the rebellious years we weren't close, but we certainly were close recently. And because my dad kept every letter and drawing I did, 7 year old me reminded myself we can always make up... I'm so glad we made up. I love and miss you dad.
I put sugar, spice, and everything nice into this tattoo. Along with Chemical X.

One of two highlights of my trip was meeting this amazing person. One of my idols in the tattoo world @ivanatattooart It was such a pleasure meeting you!
Mama tried with Jason... we see how that ended.
